Seriously, her ass was replaced and no one cared.

This show wasn't about her, it was a vehicle for Will Smith, as long as he was there, everyone else was replaceable.

+1. No one was that outraged by her being fired from the show. No one is going to care if they do a reunion without her either.

I do know people who lost interest after she was replaced, although obviously it didn't hurt ratings.

This is nothing new. There's always been beef between the two. I only wish she had gotten over it by now

thats true. People DID notice and didnt like the replacement. Ultimately it didnt matter bc she wasnt the star, but for what its worth, I preferred the original Vivian. The second one was too bland and vanilla and didnt seem to have much personality

From an old Jet article I read, Will basically said that she wanted to be the star and felt entitled because she had been in the business longer. She's just a difficult person to work with, you've barely seen her anywhere since Fresh Prince of Bel Air and that's likely her own fault.

The writers really watered down the character when Daphne Maxwell Reid was brought in, but if there was a reunion, her appearance would be fine.

Essentially what the

I wonder what the details of the situation were?

What I've read is that she caused a lot of tension on the set and was going off on people, so they wanted to reduce her episodes for the fourth season, but she declined and they let her go. Alfonso Ribeiro flat out called her crazy, so I'm assuming she was really flipping out on set.

Her not working again is telling.

I loved her work on AMC. I wish she did more. I guess they are probably both right, and both wrong, but I'd rather see her than more of Will Smith smirking, which I've already seen for about 20 years.

I actually liked both actresses. I just loved that Jazz was the one who noticed. They did stuff like that a lot on the show though. remember that first living room. then they changed Nicky from a baby to a young child. In the first season opening (or first episode), they showed Will's mom being gray haired older woman but then they brought in that semi-good looking woman to be the mom and i always thought that was a shock.
