B&B: December Discussion Thread

Where were the last couple of episodes shot? The show looks amazing, and that is a really beautiful location shoot. The other shows look like garbage in comparison.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

And yet I hate when the show becomes more of a travel brochure than drama.

This girl is so thin, I was surprised she was even able to muster that booty jiggle.

B&B really is a beautifully produced show.

I just wonder whether it is just the skills of Ed Scott (producer) and Michael Stich (director) or if Scott got some extra out of Brad Bell's pocket to do all those remotes. I wouldn't be surprised though if some of the Mexiko sights are Bell or Scott owned like the cliff house in Malibu earlier this year.

The locations is what got me to watch the last few episodes. I am not a B&B watcher but when there is something exotic to look at I tune in. The hallucination island I loved, and this is a very pretty show right now. It helps me watch a program I don't really know a lot about.

Well, to fill ya in, Hope and Liam have been mooning over each other for the last two months while Steffi keeps bluffing/plotting to keep her husband "satisfied". The scenery is definitely an upgrade from the cheesy montages backed by the angsty, drippy remake of the song I can't even recall right now, but this is the same situation (I'd call it dreck) and dialogue they've been rehashing all that time.

They've recently thrown Thomas into the mix, but all in all....I'm over it.

I think you would like BB if you got into it Q. It moves quickly and the production values are the best in daytime now. That's mostly because the bell's use their own homes, but whatever the reason BB still seems like a show about people who really are rich.

At the end of these episodes in Cabo, there is a reference to the resort and that they helped sponsor the programs.

B&B is easily the best looking show on the air.

Vast improvement from earlier this year when it was daily the worst. HD has made a huge difference

and just like that, Thomas proposes marriage to Hope! WTF is wrong with this show?

I've been loving this Cabo location shoot. It's classic soap with two interlopers trying to keep the 'rooted couple' apart and course Liam/Hope can't stop thinking about each other. I'm really enjoying this quad. Though I think Thomas proposing is way too fast.

This girl is so thin, I was surprised she was even able to muster that booty jiggle.

KM's body > JMW's. :)

I'm surprised Michael didn't direct the location shoot - CJP did.

Okay, I'm just getting into this story but after watching today I'm guessing KM is Hope? :D

So what's going on? Is Hope Scott Clifton's ex or sister? Geesh, I just want to take an eyebrow pencil to his patchy beard, him and JJ. So Steffy and Tomas are Ridge's children, both by Taylor or one by Brooke? Didn't Tomas used to be Drew Tyler Bell? I always thought he was a Bell Bell so I always remembered that name.

- Yes, KM is Hope.

- Hope is Scott Clifton's virgin ex.

- Steffy and Thomas are Ridge's children with Taylor. (Also, Phoebe who was Steffy's twin sister, died in 2008.)

- Yes, Thomas used to be Drew Tyler Bell.

Thank you! So is Hope drunk/high or just ditzy? Yes, I was going to ask about Phoebe but then I remembered when she passed. They were played by real-life twins, right?

This seems like an incredibly easy show to follow once you figure out a few basics. I only caught the last ten minutes or so today, but whenever I watch it feels like it's over before it even got started.

Oh, and I'm guessing Hope and Clifton--name?--broke up because he wanted to have sex and she wasn't ready?unsure.png
