Today I was looking for jobs in Burbank and I walked past a Hooter's and was like WTH - why is there a long ass line at Hooter's at this time of day?! The line was HUGE. So I got curious and went closer and found out they were doing casting for the next season of The Real World! I seriously thought about getting in that line since im 18 now but then was like omg no I can't do that right now!! LOL, maybe in a few years cool.png

I would so do it. Would anyone else here go on TRW? ;-)

They seem to think that hostility towards gays (or gays acting like racist or misogynist a$$holes and implying we should side with anti-gay bigots) is the best way for the show to get ratings or attention, along with drunken hookups and brawling, of course. It's tough to remember when Real World was responsible for having positive or enlightened attitudes amidst all the bile.

I tried out in the past and it very, very far.

I watched last weeks episode. I honestly think Zach has valid issues and reasons not to like Frank aside from his liking boys. Frank is a disaster. He has a huge drinking problem, he is way overly emotional, he has this anger outb ursts, he has acted like an !@#$%^&*], he has had near physcial fights with women, he has little to no respect for anyone else. Even with the issue last week, in the morning Zachs biggest thing was he needed to say sorry to the girls for scaring them. Now, if frank were a girl or a straight guy would Zach still have an issue with all of this? I think so.

The house isnt the gay guy because he is gay. They are not even against him. They, aside from one, wanted him to stay. Want him to do better and be better. But they do not want to live with a dude who gets wasted, throws fits, starts fights, and breaks stuff. I dont blame them at all.

Nate really came around in the end of the episode and I think that is because he saw that how Frank acts when he is drunk isnt who he is at his core. he drinks to deal with his issues and they all come out when he is drunk. Frank needs some true friends, some true support. Nate seemingly wants to be that person, and thats awesome. However i cant fault Zach for wanting nothing to do with Frank.

The blonde girl is pointless. So is the teenager.

I think thats the point of him coming here. To deal with issues he cant at home. To accept himself. To love who he is. To grow up. he is still a pretty young guy.

I thought it was always 18-24.

Frank is crazy.

Alex got crazy last night.

Ashley has proven pointless and Zack is annoying as hell.

The other guy looks like Bill Clinton, and reminds me of the other guy from New Orleans who had to get 'ok' with being around gays. He was the one with Jimmie.

Actually Cancun wasn't nearly as sex driven as you'd think. It was one of the few casts where every male was likable. Yes they drank, but it wasn't the basis of the season. And it was one of the few seasons where someone being gay was hardly mentioned at all. I would honestly give it a shot Marie :)
