I've really enjoyed Marlena this week so far, in her scenes with Brady and with Will. This is how I was hoping they'd use John and Marlena upon their returns -- as a support and a backbone for their family members.

I did too. Today's episode reminded me of an ATWT eppy. It made me want more of the Marlena and Will scenes plus the Kate and Austin scenes.

I've really enjoyed Marlena this week so far, in her scenes with Brady and with Will. This is how I was hoping they'd use John and Marlena upon their returns -- as a support and a backbone for their family members.

I don't want Marlena as old lady #1 who just listens to her brood. I don't care how old she is, I want Marlena best by problems starring in her own story. Will and Brady can star in their own stories and they can all get together to compare problems.

Can someone refresh my memory about that one time Kate and Sami teamed up to outsmart someone at the Cheatin' Heart? And as soon as they left and were outside, they noted that their brief truce was just for the sake of that moment. It was kinda funny, I just don't remember the circumstances.

They teamed up against Nicole. It was around Halloween time and Sami work a mask i think and a short blond wig and slutty clothes. kate work a suit and a hat. They went into the cheated heart and sang a song (these boots are made for walking maybe?) and Sami said her name was Nicole Walker and to call her and handed out her buisness cards.

They have met and been friendly, but they are far from close. Then again gabi blabbed about her sex life to Caroline, so this is ok...

I somehwat agree. I do want Marlena to have her own story and issues, but i also think she adds the most at this point by being a tentpole to her family and friends in the community. They can have her do both, but Marlena will never get her own story because there is no Marlena, ther eis only JohnAndMarlena.

I'm only caught up to Tuesday's show on my DVR, but I have to say that I absolutely loved the Brady/Marlena scenes.

They have really good chemistry, and I haven't seen Dee act that natural in a long time. It was like watching a real discussion between real people. I hope that they keep this up.

Loved Sarah Brown as usual. She is such an effortless actor. I'm curious as to who her mystery caller is, though. It's probably going to be Quinn, but I hope they don't go down the hooker path again. It was a disaster with Chloe, and ruined her character.

It'd be great if it was Billie, and they are co-conspirators in taking down Countess Willihemena, and Kate, but being as Lisa is supposedly not taping until December, I don't really see that happening unless they drag this out for months.

Rafe cracked me up. Sami and Austin did deserve the harsh treatment, and I thought they were ridiculous in wanting to know what Carrie discussed with him. Love how they touched on both Rafe and Carrie's uneasiness with Sami/Austin's past. Very believable.

I really don't like the Maggie stolen egg storyline, but Suzanne is killing it. If it was another character at the center of it, it would be a complete disaster.

<p>I'm quite curious how the show will have Sami react too. I imagine she'll be surprised, simply for the fact she doesn't pay attention to Will most of the time, but I wonder once she knows if she'll treat it like no big deal, if she's going to make a big deal about it and have hard time, be hurt that Will chose Marlena to confide in instead of her? Many routes they could take.</p>

<p>For one - because Sami is rather self centred, but for a second reason because Sonny's family (including Maggie) is totally accepting of him and Marlana/John will be totally supportive of Will so someone has to be against it or really upset about it.</p>

I tend to agree. I don't think Sami's reaction will be all that positive. I think that she will go the way of Lily on ATWT.

I don't have a problem with that, to be honest. John and Marlena can have their own problems. The fact that it meant an end to SamiEJNicole on non-stop is a plus. And it should be noted we haven't heard a single person say "sydney!" since. I think we saw her once at the party and that's it. How great is that?

Watching Melanie go over all the men she's run out of town highlighted the point that maybe the problem is her. Just sayin'.....

Catching up on DAYS, watching yesterdays show...WTH is wrong with Chad and Sonny. They are major dolts. Why don't they just ban the guys doing the gambling on their message board? This story is dumb as I don't know what!

The Marlena/Will scenes were excellent!

Did Melanie ever mention the name of her grandmother? If they mentioned it before, I would've liked a reminder. Or was this suppose to be a surprise?

Yes they were! I'm really enjoying this Madison/Brady origin story. You need to create memorable scenes like this so they can be used for flashbacks in the future. This has been a good start to a new couple in a very long time.

What is Jack's back story? I mean short-term. Why was he away from his family all this time?
