I have been waiting for this for years. Quite honestly. I thought they were going to do it in 2007/2008 when Greenlee and Zach were both in that stupid hole and they instead went for Aiden and Kendell which was just a huge WTF to me.

I always liked Rendell better then Zendell, and I always felt Kendell was more herself when she was with him. Even when she was this long suffering heroine who was desperate for him to love her I still felt that was more to who Kendell was then what she has currently become with Zach. With Zach Kendell is just this weird stepford woman who has no recognizable traits of the old Kendell.

However since Minshew isn't interested in continuing I doubt Rendell will happen.

Actually, I meant, "...JB relocating to L.A....". That was an error on my part.

But basically, what I was saying was, because I doubt PP would even consider moving AMC back to NYC, I doubt we could get Julia Barr, or any NYC-based actor, back on the show for more than occasional appearances.

Speaking only for myself, I liked Ryan and Madison because I liked them together. It had nothing to do with Greenlee. I liked how he helped her out when she was living at the casino and I thought that the subtext of how Ryan's anger issues played into Madison's past as a domestic abuse survivor could've been a really interesting story. I also thought that CM stepped up his game a bit with in that pairing. I'll never love Ryan but I stopped FF-ing him when he was with Madison.

huh.png Rendell were just as popular as Zendell was (if not more). It's always a hoot to see Zendell fans say otherwise though. Zendell was a fluke that persisted because of behind the stage politics. They were born because Frons had a hard on for Rylee which left Kendell a free agent. Zendell was just one of her pairings that "stuck" enough to gain traction (it was bound to happen they threw every single male character/actor at Kendell/Alicia). Consequently the two pairings derailed the Rendell redux. Had Ryan not been saddled with Greenlee for such a prolonged period (2003-2005 and her subsequent returns) there is no doubt in my mind that Ryan and Kendell would have been reunited at some point. The pairing was Ryan's second most popular pairing after Gillian and was one of Kendell's most successful love interests in the history of the character/actresses run.

    • Oups!! I guess when i was doing the editing, i left a part of 3169, too (RTL Lounge airs 2 episodes per day back to back). Sorry about that ! Tonight i ll try to record 3171-3172. If i m not mistaken 3172 is missing from YouTube.

    • I would put Felicia in the 'small dose' auntie category because she means well, but comes on too strongly at times.  In small doses, she would be a blast to hang out with.. but in anything larger than a small... she would be exhausting. I tend to prefer lower key people than people that are always 'on' all the time.  Those people can veer off into energy vampire status pretty quickly.
    • I didn't like the Harry story, but Nazar did have a great introduction. He was probably the highlight of last year.  Now that you mention it, I guess the truly dire stories (Nicole, Harper/Drew/Phil, Nicole) didn't start until summer.
    • thank you all for contributing to the Vault. I am slowly getting towards watching the 1998 episodes

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
    • Nah I enjoyed it much more last year because of the Harry plot that ended during that time. Nazar being introduced and them. But this time it is so lame and nothing I like forward to anymore and I’m one of them long time fans. Of course I would be upset if they would cancel it but maybe take a year off or two and return refreshed
    • came across this quote that provides some context: “It’s hard to escape the cultural reach of the Catholic Church when you live in the Western world. It is, for better or worse, one of the load-bearing walls of our civilization. Its influence wafts from the church into the streets of civic life, the courts, the schools, the arts.”
