Members EricMontreal22
Bravo to all of that. And yes Vicki's euology was disappointing-it's not like her to come up with a eulogy that clearly tells everyone "well I really don't knwo what to say but I think we loved him..." I thought it was a disappointingly meh episode--though I actually liked tea's reaction, just because it reminded me of a close friend when she lost her husband and had to be literally almost carried to the funeral--of course she was glad she went in the end, but... Yes but somehow what Tina did was FAR worse... At any rate the problem with Vicki if she hadn't gone is exactly what you say--then she'd have to stop all itneraction with Todd due to him trying to give away Natalie's heart, etc, etc--and the show probably realizes to their kinda credit that if they have her refuse to go to Victor's funeral but continue to help out Todd it would make fans see the weird hypocricy all the more. Members Khan
On the other hand, they could've gone in another direction, held the thing at Capricorn w/ Earth, Wind & Fire music playing in the background. I'm just saying.
Members Antoyne
It lasted for all of five minutes anyway. I'm just happy we TSJTodd fans didn't have to listen and watch a montage again with KA's singing. That ruined his murder for me.
Members EricMontreal22
Those 70s music rights are expensive--it would have been Bazz and Starr doing their cool dubstop music (PS OLTL writers--his music isn't remotely dubstop despite what they initially said)--with Blair warbling in the background until she falls off the piano. LOL I didn't realize that was KA. Think I blocked it out.
Members Khan
[!@#$%^&*], now I wish they had gone in this direction! That would have been funny as hell!

Members Vee
The truth is that most of Victor's really heartwarming family stuff - with anyone other than Dani, mind - was a number of years ago. He'd descended down the scale into really nasty [!@#$%^&*] around 2008 and after that they tended to only trot the kids out for him when it was time to remind us how despite the whole rape/babynapping thing he really wasn't so bad versus someone else - Ross, Eli, Blair, Tomas, whoever. That's the Sonny Corinthos angle - 'well, these people all love him despite all this so you should too!' They would shoehorn this nauseating domestic stuff into the middle of other stories and it always came off forced and out of place to me. Yes, he was once a good father to those kids, but I haven't been able to buy him as one since the rapemance, no matter what Starr or Jack or Dani said or whatever lines he mouthed. It didn't matter how many random-ass, poorly-done scenes they threw at me. Poorly done is poorly done. So while I'm sorry for the kids and their pain - and I understand why they view him as they do - for this viewer it's a whole different story. Members ~bl~
I was expecting Dani to start singing as she sang at that wedding party or whatever it was for Tea and Todd/Victor. Then Starr would join in and then Blair, now that would have been odd.

Members MontyB
Didn't you say you were tuning out when TSJ left? Hmmm, a drunken tribute would have been quite interesting. AT is starting to grow on me. No nasty thoughts involved. I think he's gotten a little better.
