JFP Friankie Fram on ANother World?

PR at AW @ Riehholt? I know hthere are some others from PR

I think Lemay,> an actress or two from there as well(AW)

I bet Carl know alot about this

OOOOOOHH!!

The Hursley's I think and Jo Tate or Turner. Don't know her last name from SFT.

Also, Irna Philips had a few over the years at GL and ATWT I think

And it seems Dena Higley hates Crysytal Chappell on Days. It's horrifying what is being written for her. I'll add Chloe to the list too

I remember when Gordon Reyfield took over at AMC from Richard Culliton in Dec 2002 he hated Kendall's brother Trey and wrote him out. I remember in a later interview Alicia Minshew said she was pissed at that cause her and Sam Page (Trey) worked well together and she liked having him on set

I guess karma is swift cause Gordon only lasted 6 months to be replaced by McTavish

Megan McTavish I think had it out for Zach, even though she created him? blink.png

She resented the character's popularity with Kendall and when she was mandated to make them a full blown couple, every opportunity she got she made Ryan look good at the expense of him. Then again she would make Ryan look good at the expense of her own mother so....

Yeah He was David, Leo & Kendall's Bro. Maggie's Cousin & Vanessa's son. Plus he was showing intrest in Greenlee while dating Jenelle who let him help Reggie. Maybe he should come back on the PP version. Trey should be outta jail by now.

Linda Gottlieb and Clint Buchanan

I would also add, although it's just speculation, Michael Malone and Tina. I don't think he ever "got" her, and the material for her in 1994-1995 was awful. Then in 2003 he destroyed her character.

Thats why I love writers like Claire Labine & Doug Marland cause they said when u come in u have to listen to what the audience wants and not what u the writer wants.

Case in point RH wrote Dakota as Johnny's ilegitimete son. Something claire admits she wouldnt have wrote but she recoginized that he was a fan fave when she returned in Feb 1987 and kept him til his contract ended in fall 1988

Well MM did write Tina from 1991-94 when Karen Witter played her and wasnt she a fan fave in the role?

Karen was popular, yes, but she was in the role about a year before Malone arrived and even then she was Tina Lite, and some of the stuff she did never seemed like Tina to me (like having sex on a dirty warehouse floor). Once Karen wasn't in the role and Cain was gone Malone was totally lost with what to do with her. When Jean would verbally eviscerate her I kind of felt like that was Malone's view of the character.

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
