If I was a lifelong AMC fan, I'd be fuming right now. These folks were robbed of closure--and of a satisfying finale--in order to satisfy the demands of executives who never were certain in the first place if AMC would continue online.

The way in which the "visionary" PP executives exploited the hopes and fears of AMC fans is beyond unforgiveable.

I'd rather see it end like this then have PP half-ass it then drop it after a few months. I was pleased with the ending. The cliffhanger doesn't bother me the way it seems to be bothering some people.

Of course this makes me think that PP's money problems might be even worse than the WSJ made it sound.

Yeah Richards livelihood depends on soaps. I don't think he never wanted the shows to move over.

BUt I am bummed about AMC only because I liked the orignal idea for the ending they talked about

I agree with you I am just kind of saddened about that original concept for the ending we never saw. Oh well
