JA, I agree. He did seem to still be part of the chain and that is probably how she found out. I think some of us are a little off put by Prospect Park because they're not really pimpin' it all out on social media and well in terms of AMC there hasn't been much progress. I understand that but I also don't think they're bad guys for that.

No one here has said PP is bad thats the thing. And I am probably ultra sensitized to the AMC stuff because of how ABC jacked those people around. And then to read that somehow JY is a traitor simply because he chose an offer he felt suited him more was a tad too much for me.

I think they just need some people to help PP with their social media. Although I know what their doing is a great Feat, some regularily checking twitter and doing an official Facebook page would be cool too

People need to seperate PP from ABC. They are not ABC In the very least and look at this as a whole different production company entirely

So the reactions are maybe a little more passive aggressiveness at the Prospect Park cheerleaders than Prospect Park itself but not excluding some negative feelings about how this whole PP thing is going so far.

If she starts regularly showing up Stephen Nichols she will be gone and if she actually has an ounce of chemistry with KSJ she will likely be gone too

I've been checking out the clips and I think she's doing a pretty good job. It will definitely be odd for people who only know DM as Angie but she's played this type of character before. She said on Tom Joyner that she loves Angie but she really enjoys playing another character.

The thing with Y&R though is they collect then misuse, abuse and discard. Debbi is doing a good job, but Y&R continuing to treat her right is something that is very much up in the air. That's why I don't think a return to AMC sooner than later is a decent possibility even if they're off to a good start.

But there is no guarantee she's go back to AMC not that I wouldn't love her back. Didn't she say in her last interview that just after she signed on with Y&R that she was contacted about a prominent role in a Denzel Washington movie? Personally I thought it odd she went to Y&R. Yeah they still pay well compared to the other soaps but I don't think she would have had a problem getting fairly regular work.

JA, I agree. It's definitely not written in stone that she'd return to AMC if Y&R doesn't work out due to Y&R collecting syndrome. I would think a lot of factors would play into that including has AMC been launched? is it successful? are the involved actors happy? Even if the answer to all of that is, yes, Debbi is definitely an actress who can keep working somewhat comfortably even without a regular soap gig.

I was surprised she ever went back to AMC at all, especially since she had repeatedly said she wanted to play characters who weren't like Angie. So I don't know what will happen.

Any time a new actor gets praise for their performance, then unless they are a hunky guy with a vocal fan following (like Michael Muhney), they are shown the door by Y&R. That is a very ugly set, and I pity anyone who works there.

Glad to hear Darnell is continuing and I think they'll have Angie doing something medical out of town for sure. Hope we hear about some other heavy hitters soon

I actually like the idea of Jesse without Angie. Even though I consider them one of the last legitimate soap supercouples they are still individual characters and IMO should be treated as such. Jesse especially turned into a bit of a cipher so I'm intrigued to see what could be done with him away from Angie. If we can get Jamie Luner on board, that could be a very interesting dynamic. Jesse and Liza could be very interesting, not necessarily romantically but I wouldn't rule that out entirely either.

This is where I wish they could bring back Lorraine from The City/Loving. I just loved that actress, and she had chemistry with Darnell.

Angie can be off screen like Ruth was for several years.
