I'm sorry, but what? I'm not attacking you the messenger baller, but what does Susan Lucci care about some Eden Riegel to make or break her decision to carry on? If that's what Nelson is saying, that's nonsense.

I don't see AM, MEK and SL signing on yet so are they snobs as well? Maybe he was offered good money but maybe money wasn't his only main issue? Bottom line is, JY is currently working and not fiddling his thumbs waiting for a chain mail to come to find out if online AMC is a go or not.

There's something to be said about job security...good grief!!

+1

JY has praised PP and has said repeated times that he believes online is the way of the future but that doesn't mean that it's right for him especially when he was offered a better job and lets face it, working at BB is probably the best place to work at in all of daytime.

And can you blame him? I don't especially since AFTRA & PP STILL haven't reached an agreement.

The only person I see being naive about PP is you John.

Question

I know PP may not be moving like some of us may like but would u rather have No AMC Or OLTL 2 watch??. Thats what would have happened if PP had not stepped in.

Id rather have PP work out all the kinks and get it right the first time, so if takes a little more time, Im all for it.

Thats not being Naive, Thats being realistic.

You are assuming people here don't want it just because some of us don't rise to their defense time and time again. No one is perfect, businesses aren't, watch TV or read the papers people are finally fed up with Wall Street. People want to see and hear about forward movement and a few actors signing when no agreement has been reached with the union and that they have no broached the WGA is discouraging. I think people are all for PP taking their time and getting it right but on the flip side these soap actors are not multimillionaires. If they want to work they need to pursue the actual opportunities that are viable. JY went to BB because he had a concrete UNION APPROVED job offer. Debbie Morgan same thing. And would I rather see them on AMC yes but I can't blame them for pursuing concrete jobs especially since we know Y&R and B&B still pay their actors pretty well unlike Days and the ABC shows

Well I think just because we havent heard about unions finalizing that doesnt mean they have not done so or are very close to doing so

All The unions have been approached by PP. JVD told ,me this at the OLTL Luncheon In August. Just because we havent seen A Press Release about it, doesnt mean it didnt happen. Id rather see one big Press release when all is set that tweets every day at what PP is doing

And her hubby is a writer and producer on Secret Circle though I guess he could do that from anywhere (and some of it films here in BC anyway).

As for JY, meh he was smart to take the job being offered to him now and not wait around to see what hapopened--I can't even slightly blame him for that. H'es spoken about how much AMC means to him, I don't see snobbism,.

as a union member negotations are tricky being approached means absolutely nothing, you can be at the table for months and never reach a fair agreement. Also it is probably more than likely that the actors know exactly what is going on since the union will keep its members up to date with negotations if something was close to panning you would have heard some rumblings about it, the fact that most are saying the opposite leads me to believe exactly what JY and others are saying.

There is nothing wrong with actors being skeptical of PP I mean it is them that are taking the risks not us fans and they should know more than us what is good for them or not. If JY thought his deal wasn't good that him, maybe for someone else it was perfect but for him he wanted something else. Why are you sticking them all in one box, they are all different and can have different desires for their careers.

While a group of OLTL actors have signed on pending the union issue, it doesn't mean that everything may work out in time for the launch of new episodes in January. We just have to wait and see what happens. It is understandable that the OLTL people are more willing to take a chance as if things work out they will have their head writer and executive producer. With AMC, things seem to be in limbo, and they have the right to be cautious.

Jacob says in this interview why he went to B&B:

http://michaelfairma..._medium=twitter

home!

MICHAEL:

Jacob, you decided to come back to The Bold and the Beautiful instead of staying with All My Children with its move online. Why the decision to make such a BOLD move?

JACOB:

The issue with leaving AMC was about the uncertainty. Is there going to be a future? How serious are they about the online venture? How is it going to work? And I had just recently heard a rumor that they are actually moving all the sets out of the studio. Now I know with One Life to Live their team is signed and their people are pretty much ready and gung-ho. But I knew there was going to be a little resistance with AMC. Maybe it was a bit of foreshadowing, but with The Bold and the Beautiful it was my first job. So there is this sort of romanticism about my first break into Hollywood.
