We can agree to disagree I don;t like AM's Kendall at all and I can see why people hated SMG but she to me was like SArah Brown was as Carly the essense of the character was just lost once she left. People say Carly grew same as Kendall but I just thought both characters continued to get diluted with recasts.

Yeah I guess any long term vet shouldnt be recast. I didn't include Adam and Brooke because they aren't on the show now but IA.

Kathy Brier is pregnant so even if PP/OLTL wanted to bring her back there's her maternity leave to consider. Since the show has chosen to keep John McBain bringing Michael back into the fold would probably be a good idea. But...even though I'm not the intended audience and I have nothing against Chris Stack, I'm still Team Marston. It would be nice to see him return even if it means David Hayward resurrected Al Holden while working for Irene. (How's THAT for a crossover? wink.png )

I'm definitely wondering what effect FV being VP of PP Daytime will have on AMC considering the current state of OLTL. OLTL is not bad but it's not classic OLTL, it's a show that has a lot of young, half naked handsome people having naughty sex and fast-shooting, out of the headlines stories. That's extremely far from where AMC currently is and what it has been. But it sells.

True. I'm just wondering about the timing and how much KB would want to work. That's all.

I hate the thought of Valentini getting his sticky little paws on AMC. His involvement is the reason I've decided not to watch the new show when it launches. I prefer to remember Agnes Nixon's AMC. If, after a couple of months, the show manages to keep its heart and soul, I'll give 2.0 a shot. But I'm definitely not tuning in to Porn Valley.

The thing is people keep talking about FV as some great EP how do we know. Everything everyone has said about FV is that he is a money guy. I don't know if thats true. If hes like a traditional EP he has had creative input and direction and I don't like OLTL now or the campiness of what its become.I enjoy some things on there most things I don't. And I would have been more comfortable if PP would have looked outside of the current daytime landscape for someone new. But maybe he won't be providing creative direction and thats left to the HW's.

Bad camp is OLTL's worst trait in recent years - especially since so much of it involves rape or rape fantasy. Drama is what they would be best at, if they really went in that area.

Tina will always fit into OLTL. So will Cord. The characters are timeless. It's the writing and lack of vision and daytime's lack of interest in decent leading men which hurts them. Cord was out of place when OLTL became more about rapists and con artists as leading men.

I wish this new venture would let them go back to the midsized town format, where people go to the big cities for heavy business deals. Let people have small companies in Pine Valley, or WRCW, and then Enchantment or whatever could have a lot of New York focus. They could do probably do more location shooting if they're online.

I'm wondering which stars actually cleaned out their dressing rooms and which ones did not. Unless everyone was told to do so, I think if actors left their belongings behind, they intend to take part in the online venture, if asked. For example, both Stephanie Gatschet and Denise Vasi cleaned out their dressing rooms

Happy "hump day"..... Sad day here as I'm about to go clean out my #AMC dressing room *sniffle sniffle*. What's everyone up to?

@ least we're doing it 2gthr RT @AMCStephanie: ... Sad day here as I'm about to go clean out my #AMC dressing room *sniffle sniffle*.

    • Was Angela still on the show at that point? I think I caught some of the show on Lifetime or TNT  when they reran the series, and Angela never seemed to be on during the last season. I remember thinking it felt the like the last season was a completely different show and that Wendy Philips was too grounded of an actress (not a criticism) for a nighttime soap.    I don't understand the concept because I don't think most people channel hop. I can understand wanting Alfonso's popularity to rub off, but why engender bad feelings by firing Ana Alicia and bringing on Alfonso? Soap execs never learned that lesson. Like Ellen Parker a few years later, I don't think they realized Ana Alicia's popularity.
    • I think they tended to run the cast list once a week, but I don't know if it had a consistent day.
    • Does Search for Tomorrow ever list the cast in its end credits? I watched about fifteen videos from 1985 to look at the cast credits at the end and I never saw any except for Mary Stuart's credit. I try not to google cast members if there's a chance I might watch a soap so I don't spoil exits.
    • Jeez louise, they overdid it with the music in late 1985. Wendy's self-loathing episode on Dec. 6 is "underscored" (if we can call it that) to the end theme from Scarface, of all movies.
    • It's always hot when he's onscreen
    • True. So it must be the heat.   LOL. Oh, you.
    • That's a lousy ad. They didn't even choose good headshots. That's the least attractive I've seen Gregory Harrison look in his entire career. He looked hotter on GH last year! And CBS would keep bringing over ABC or NBC actors (more often ABC) for their soaps, further gutting their identities. Sad all around. Of course, they are the only network to have more than one soap on the air, so who am I to judge?
    • He always looks a snack to me lol!  Yes Blue is his color for sure! Those arms of his are huge *must not think dirty thoughts*
    • Maybe trying to ramp up the nostalgia factor? The only original characters left on the show were Angela, Lance, and Chao-Li. But FC hadn’t been watched by too many since 1987 and the finale didn’t bring back any old living characters like Emma, Cole, Peter Stravos etc.
    • 5-13   That was kinda meh except for the coda. Liam figuring out that Hope knows he's dying. And ending it on that. Good acting.   Oh, Luna. smh. But I guess I do look forward to see how she expects to wiggle her way into Finn's life. And uh oh at Sheila and seeing the wheels start to turn again. Honestly, he's been looking like a whole snack the last few weeks. And I can't decide if it's just the heat here lol or if he's just been working out more than usual.  But blue and shades of it has been such a great color on him.
