They are STILL waiting to see what happens? Seriously, PP, get your asses moving! You have great talent WILLING to continue. MAKE A MOVE!

I'm so happy to hear though that the actors I thought would instantly bolt are considering sticking around. Very shocked that Alicia Minshew is considering staying. Same for Irizarry (though we REALLY need a David break), MEK, Cosgrove and even Mathison. I expected all but Cosgrove to bail. If Ryan keeps getting written like he has been, I can like him again. I've always liked Mathison, he comes across very genuine, nice and has a good personality. It's a shame Ryan was written so horribly since Frons started running ABC. And too bad about CSJ. He's a talent that was WASTED on AMC.

Chrishell wasn't on contract though so she can always continue on a recurring basis.

I don't need a David break. I need David to get writing that shows he has a good side, instead of always playing the guy from whom the Martin's have to save all of PV.

Waiting to see what happens? Lord I hope these people are not waiting around. I give Cameron credit for pursuing other things. I hope the rest of these people are doing the same.

I don't think they're waiting around. It's like when you're job hunting, even if you decide in the interview that you don't want the job, you never say that. The goal is to get an offer even if it's for no other reason than to leverage it against another offer or just to see how much you can ask for.

Also, I don't believe for one second Minshew declined another soap for PP. I think she declined another soap for whatever reason and is - wisely - sending a signal to PP that she's got people interested in her in a way that has the added benefit of keeping her fans cheering her on.

ALso being contacted or being interested in does not translate to offer. SO who knows. Unless its Y&R I cant imagine who else has the money and cast room to bring her on. And Y&R loves hiring the ABC castoffs. AS for CS she doesn't have a contract now so her not interested in another soap is no suprise and same thing. Interest and offer 2 diff things.

Y&R having the "cast room" is very debatable. They already have something like 40 people on contract, not that I think that would stop them from bringing on more ABC people.

WEll I guess moneywise they have the room. As far as castwise of course they don't.

Looking at Addie Walsh's pictures from the wrap party. Fancy! Did ABC actually foot the bill for that?

They used the right album and font, not JHC's crap version!

*cries* the old family album. I don't know why, but old theme songs and little opening-related mementos like that tug at my heartstrings even though they're from years before I ever started watching.

Sniff it reminds me of watching the original opening of the show when they would open the book up to that first page.

That cake made me hungry as [!@#$%^&*]. My fat ass first reaction: Ooh, I wonder if the tree part is edible.

That's very nice though, and I love the family tree idea. I hope those candles aren't scented.
