The idea of Erica being a second generation Sheila could have been nice... but Bradley f-cked that up too.

Why hasn't Erica returned? She has been mentioned a few times in the last few years.

I'm up to January 1996 in my rewatch, where Ridge finds the faked letter from Dr Tracy Peters. It would appear the suspects are both Mike Guthrie and Sheila. Tracy was killed by mugging the night before in the hospital parking lot when Brooke and Ridge go to get her take on the letter. I'm not up to a revisited paternity test yet where Eric's revealed to be the father, and if memory serves from my original viewing, we never got to find out who planted the letter, and who killed Tracy? Does anyone know if there was a common viewer take on who did both (the letter and the killing)? Even though Mike wasn't known to be a killer, his behavior and anger towards Brooke seems to suggest he was the one who did both. Sheila certainly seemed shocked by it all when Ridge came to confront her and throttle her. What does everyone else who has seen this sequence think as to who the culprit was?

It had to be either Mike or Sheila since they were the only ones who knew that the paternity test had been tampered with (albeit inadvertently).

It’s a bit odd the true culprit never came out. The story leads to Stephanie blaming Brooke for tampering with the paternity test (in accordance with the forged letter), but at some point she just stops accusing her of this for no reason at all. The writing just buries the issue with no explanation. In their later confrontations, Stephanie never lists ”you tampered with Bridget’s paternity test!” among Brooke’s sins, while by every seeming evidence she should, as she distrusts Brooke by default.

Last week they aired the faulty B&B Episode 3278 on Videoland.

-> We have this episode from YouTube , but there is pixelated video from 4:12min to 4:19min.
-> I wondered, why the Videoland Episode is 20sec shorter...then i saw, they cut out about 17sec

So they removed the same clip that is glitched in the YouTube Episode, but the scene is cut short.

I think in that case it's better to keep the episode from YouTube.

This kind of tells me the master copy is corrupted and they had to edit it due to the pixelation? Looking forward to your next batch of season 13 episodes @rsclassicfanforever including the missing English version of 3255! Thank you as always. 🙏

Thank you for keeping an eye on these things. I guess... the youtube version is better.

I've been watching the first year episodes of B&B on Tubi, and it's practically Shakespeare level compared to what the show has today.

It is! The first 7 years... 1987 to 1993 are really... special. Especially 1989 to 1993.
