Members Videnbas Posted January 21, 2022 Members Share Posted January 21, 2022 I don't think the singing was the reason for the recast - I remember reading that Thorne singing was Trachta's idea when he was already on the show. And they brought in Jeff Trachta because he had screen tested for Jack Abbott on Y&R (which of course went to Peter Bergman).
