Loved how Rebecca Budig and Susan Lucci were stone-faced during the bad joke about AMC/OLTL's "forced retirement." And sorry I still do hold Wayne Brady partly complicit for the death of soaps, with his show replacing GL.

Supporting Actress was rushed beyond belief compared to Supporiting Actress

I'm very glad that Jonathan Jackson won the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor. He truly deserved the win this year. Heather Tom is a very good actress but I'm surprised by her win for Best Supporting Actress. I still wish Heather would go back to Y&R to portray the real Victoria Newman.

Here we go honoring Elvis Presley on the Daytime Emmys. Yall didn't catch his hit morning talk show, Wake Up! with Elvis? How about his cooking program, Who's in the Kitchen with Elvis? Or maybe the game show, Win Elvis's Weight in Money. Or maybe the soap As the Elvis Turns. He's very important to the history of daytime television, you see.

This is beyond stupid. Get to the damn awards. I'm watching for the SOAP AWARDS not a frickin' circus Elvis tribute.

I hate how rushed they're going with the nominees. The announcer is just saying "Actor as Character," not even saying the names of the shows. If they want to go fast, they should just show the nominees in the audience like the other awards shows do.

The only thing I have enjoyed were the boos for the cancellations. This [!@#$%^&*] sucks they rush through the nominees so god damn fast I wanted clips.

I'd rather the Emmys not air than have them air like this. At least if they're not dependent on Nielsen ratings, the evening can actually be about daytime programming and not bullsh!t. They can go low-budget and stream it online.
