Its all the same. They used to be 22-24 episode seasons at 30 minutes and now 12 episodes at one hour. Personally I like the current format bc some of the older seasons seemed to drag on for months

I think the main difference now is that they squeeze in more seasons. They used to do just one per year, then they started doing two, and at one point they did three in a year. I think they do more seasons of RW to make up for the loss of RR, but I'd be cool with them just going back to one season per year in the spring and/or summer with Jersey Shore being the main attraction in the fall/winter.

I'd be down with one a year and back to longer seasons...I just don't find the shows interesting enough to fill a whole hour anymore...But then we might get another awful cast like this year's Las Vegas and I couldn't imagine 20 weeks of them..

Am i the only one that does not only not mind the fresh meat and newbies, but welcomes them? Yes they are boring, annoying, and i do not care about at first, but by the second or third challenge i like them, lol. Its the only to add in new people.

I don't mind the FM/newbies or the general concept of Fresh Meat (because without RR, it's definitely needed), but I hate the douches on these shows with like a white hot intensity lol I liked Brandon, Luke, and Noor from Fresh Meat II. I hope if they do another season of the Challenge, Cooke goes on because I think she'd stir up some much-needed drama.

Speaking of Fresh Meat, I started watching the original season and it was better than I even remembered. The anti-Austin stuff was GOLD, and I loved how no one was being a little bitch and lying about targeting the Austin people. From the gate, everyone made it clear who they were going after. I give Wes a little credit for coming in and knowing the game would be all about strategy and numbers, but the entitlement that he and "some guy named Danny" had was ridic. I will never understand the logic behind the "We did well in the regular challenge, so our competition shouldn't vote us into the elimination challenge" thought process at all. Ever.

LMAO at Ev. She thought she was going to go there and run things but got bounced out on the first week.

i do feel like they are trying to find the next wes/kenny/evan/insert fan fave name here and they shouldnt. because they found wes, and evan, and whatnot... just cast people that seem tough, interesting, and like they will be a drunken disaster who sleeps around. thats all the show needs, lol.

I've watched the last four or five challenges. They're pretty fun; a good summer show. I'm excited for it.

When did they film this? TJ Lavin was in a pretty bad accident back in October, I wouldn't think he would be ready to host yet.

I had no idea that happened to TJ...from the looks of that footage of the accident, and the pictures that followed, I to wondered how the heck he was able to recover so fast and host the challenge again!!

Sad we lost Aneesa and Robin so early in the game! I liked both of them. Sucks!

I'm not familiar with Adam or that guy he was fighting with, as I didn't watch their season of RW...If I was Adam I would've wanted to beat that guys ass to. Omg!! But he should've restrained himself and just walked away! Sorry to see him go early, I liked him...

Liked the first episode, looks like its going to be a great season. Love CT, the guy is hilarious and I'm glad he wasn't kicked out the first night!

Adam being the first one out is no surprised to anyone that saw Vegas. The guy is a mess and as stupid as Ty was being, I wanted to see him hit Adam. I felt bad for Leroy at first bc I thought he'd get disqulaified but instead he gets his best friend from his season. Kinda not fair to the rest I guess but they're rookies and already have that big strike against them

Ugh! Still cant stand Laurel. She is insufferable. Still dont like Katelynn either

Totally opposite. I didnt even bother with Cancun bc it looked like the typical party, sex, drunk, spring break crowd that all the RW's since Las Vegas were about. Ive preferred the more recent ones, bc they've more back to basics and not as over the top. Brooklyn was one of my favorites from the last 5 years

Cancun was a oarty, but it also had some serious stuff. A good amount of both IMHO

LOL neither did I. It also explains why the seasons nowadays go so much quicker. When it was only a half hour, it would last for over 20 weeks.

The first episode was so good. I hardly recognized Evelyn and although I'm usually not a fan of frizzy hair and pink highlights, she looks great. I'm so happy her and Paula got to stay.

Ty was a d*ck but oh well I guess he was smarter than Adam.

Leroy was such a sweetheart.

This Challenge is INSANE! I loved jasmin! She took it off ike a champ. Weak ass Theressa trying to stand up for basic ass camilla. I can not even. And i love Johnna! Sarah & Katelynn were the best at dealing with this. Loved everyone else reaction to it.

Davis! My love. Mt heart. I miss him already. He is so cute and crazy. I do think the show tries to decide who goes home though. No way were they going to let kenny/wes leave the show. or Ev/Paula last week.

Wes/kenny and CT/Adam do make a great pairing.
