Yep! I hate it bc Val was the MAIN star. She was the heroine of the bit and the others were also leads but it centered around Val. She was the "Carrie Bradshaw" of SL.

Agreed. And the show better at least acknowledge Val & give a reason why she's not there anymore. That promo makes me think they won't. How pathetic if that's the case! I'm still SMDH at Denise Vasi being her replacement. Maybe she'll surprise us!

Ugh, Denise is just awful. They should have just expanded Lauren London's role, wasn't she originally supposed to be the fourth single lady anyway?

You can’t blame us for getting excited by the return of Single Ladies on May 28, but we might actually be most excited by the return of the single man on the show, Omar Kearse. Omar, played by Travis Winfrey, is the stylish, sassy, sexy BFF who always has a comeback (or a come on) at the ready. WTF... If they're previewing this Summer, why are they using old clips of Omar from season 1 (with Stacey Dash in them)?! He probably won't have much going on this season either and will just be used for comic relief.

The season 1 clips threw me off. A mess. They already seem to be half assing things

It's exciting that she's back and on a show that is doing well. Hopefully it'll remind people in the African-American community of her talents and she can get her own series regular gig or a role in a Tyler Perry film. How that hasn't happened yet is amazing to me. Ideally I'd love her on a major network, but this is a nice gig as well.
