I finally had the chance to see the last episode. My computer and Hulu do not like each other, but I preserved.

I thought that it was another strong episode. The show still has that dark scary visual that I love. The story was well done. Gilda was foolish, but I loved that she got a gun and went to rescue her boyfriend. The father realizing that Nick could see their real appearances. The mother, not the father, as the misguided parent. The Wolf is a wonderful supporting character. His reluctance to help and then taunting Marie was good stuff. I cracked up when he tore the guy's arm out and then said that he "went too far." I was sorry that Marie died, but I liked that she went down fighting to the last. I like that we are shown that Nick and his partner are good friends, always teasing each other, but very supportive of each other. I also like that the partner is not played for the oblivious fool. He does have a role in the helping solve the crime of the week. The boss and the blonde woman are strong mysterious and menacing enemies. The only weak link is the girlfriend. She is not very charismatic. The less she has to do the better.

I fear for Grimm if it remains on Friday though. It is just not a goodnight for a show targeting younger audience.

I hope Bill is right. Grimm has not been a huge hit, but given NBC's poor ratings, it is a solid performer. It deserves another season. I was looking forward to a new episode tonight, only to discover that it is the season finale of Chuck instead. Bummer.

Yeah, another Grimm fan. I gave up posting here because no one else would. The show seems to be building to a great finale with the mystery of the murder of Nick's parents. Nick's Grimm/Wessen world is starting to collide with his human world which is increasing the tension.

I'm not super happy because I'm expecting a better lead in to the finale.. 38 minutes won't be sufficient. However, they can make it up to me if Captain plays a huge role :) It's time we found out who he is. Damn the gf! Who gives a chit about her?!

Really good show, but disappointing as the finale. I didn't spend the enire season wondering about Nick's mommy, a topic not really delved into until 2 eppies prior! I thought we'd get some answers on who the captain is, a character who seemed pretty powerful, yet was treated like a little bitch. Nick's mother should have been introduced last week to provide more insight and help Nick fight the inevitable epic battle. We didn't get that. Instead, the worthless GF got way too much airtime and Hank looks like a nut! Did Nick really think he looked sane explaining things to Juliette? The scene came off as very stupid and juvenile.

The finale didn't make me want to rush to the tv in September, but I will because I know how good the show is. Somehow, everyone got confused on what "finale" means.

Yeah, I am unhappy with the finale too. I actually liked the scene of NIck telling Juliett, but it would have made more sense if he had told Hank who would more likely believe him. I am becoming more and more convinced that the reason that the writers don't explore the captain is because they have no clue what the story is there. I will watch next season, but it better improve.

Question for the B&B group: I see @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded multiple seasons from Videoland  (in the folders that are to be put away). They are huge folders and difficult to download so I started breaking them down into months but I realized they are by season so for example, Season 4 spans from March 1990 to March 1991. Now I'm wondering where to actually place them, since we have the Full Episodes section divided by year, not seasons. And most of these seasons we already have in full, so these are duplicates. Not sure if it's necessary to keep the older versions. I could just make another new section for Seasons, so the main folders would be "Behind the Scenes and Interviews," "Clips," "Full Episodes," "Full Seasons," "Music CDs," and "photo archive Marquise" but I'm not sure that really makes sense. Also wondering since we have almost every full episode now if "Clips" can be deleted in its entirety, as it's nearly 300GB.
    • CBS moving Murder, She Wrote from Sunday to Thursday was straight up sabotage. Les Moonves knew exactly what he was doing.
    • I sure hope you’re right. The lack of sets is maddening!
    • I'm hoping that the new studio might have more space, meaning extra sets could be permanently erected. Perhaps the current  set issues are due to limited space available at Television City as it shuts down for the redevelopment. But if more space means spending more $$$ we might be stuck with the current situation no matter where they move.
    • Thanks @P.J. If my math is correct, Jordan Clarke runs were 1983-1987, 1989-1993, 1997-end.
    • I was/am mainlining both the Dream Season and Season 7 of KL together, since that was the year of their big creative swap. That's the most I can take of Dallas consecutively. But I've been very preoccupied with other shows and work IRL and I need to get back to it after a long break from my Knots binge.
    • Wk 1 95/96 MSW moves to Thurs, Cybill takes the Sunday slot. Thurs 8-9pm NBC Friends #3 20.5/33 The Single Guy #6 19.2/30 CBS Murder She Wrote #55 9.3/15 ABC Charlie Grace #74 7.6/12 FOX Living Single # 78 7.2/12 The Crew #80 7.0/11 Sunday 8-9pm NBC Mad about You # 15 14.6/23 Hope & Gloria #35 11.7/18 ABC Lois & Clark # 38 11.4/18 CBS Cybill #49 9.8/15 Almost Perfect #65 8.1/12 FOX Space Above & Beyond (2nd hr of 2hr episode) #51 9.5/15 60 Minutes was #19 so a lot of viewers didn't stay for Cybill. On Sunday, Sept. 24, CBS finished third on the night, and its performance among 18 -49 year olds was worse than it was with the older skewing Murder, She Wrote in the time period last year.  So moving MSW was a foolish move at that point. It was compatible with 60 Minutes and would probably have finished Top 20-25 for the week. They should have left Sunday alone and concentrated on other nights..
    • I’ve been watching Knots and FC rather compulsively for a while now. Currently in fall 1983 with both. I had Dallas in there, too, but I am rather shocked at how stale that show gets after Jock’s death. Meanwhile, I can spend hours in the vineyards and in the cul-de-sac.
    • What will actually change though? Does this mean the sets will be different too? Or how exactly is this gonna look like to the viewers?
    • I'm not sure Passions is the model to emulate here.
