I love her, especially back when Alex was Asa's wife and the mayor, but Tonja Walker has always been a little off. I remember 5-7 years ago she did an online interview and could not stop rambling about Catherine Hickland, who she had likely never met, and the character of Lindsay, and kept insisting Lindsay had to die violently in order for Alex to reclaim her "throne."

9/11? Ouch.

Yeah, but after looking at the calendar that date has to be wrong, since Sept. 11th is on a Sunday this year.

Sept 11 is a Sunday.

Just posted the same thing....looked at the calendar after reading the article.

That date is really tacky. AMC was in New York for most of its life and most likely many of the cast and crew knew someone who died in 9/11 :(

The interview sounds like a hoot. Do you remember when Tonja left OLTL in 1997 she talked to Soap Opera Weekly about how she hadn't been used, she wished the experience had ended better, on and on, then suddenly, after it came out, she seemed bewildered and said none of it was true and she only had happy memories?

Was just about to chime in on the 9/11 thing, but I see people have already answered it. The final airdate will most likely be September 16th?

OMG, watch this! Brian Frons telling the cast of the cancellation! Originally from Daytime Confidential.

This is how the actors and employees learned about the news?

'Don't wake up tomorrow morning thinking there was something that you could have done'
