Scott Clifton on Twitter:

So... you think it's fair to say I won't be reprising the role of Schuyler Joplin any time soon? Humor aside, what happened to OLTL and AMC is tragic and unfair, in my opinion. Such a skilled cast and crew. My thoughts are with them. Apologies to those of you who found my joke to be in poor taste. I get it. Humor is just a way to cope. I love ABC, they are family to me.

LOL at Tonja, never knew she had a little Brenda Dickson in her.

I love SL but I'm less interested in seeing her act as much as be herself at this point. Especially if we can't get some projects where she breaks out of her brand. I liked how in Double Edge she did the little Bensonhoist accent for the federal agent, little things like that. I don't think her voice is quite strong enough for a sustained Broadway musical career. She'd be better off in a stunt casty straight play. I'm still rooting for a reality show though her life seems a little too *lovely* to sell. -_-

And yes AMS, lol at putting a food show and a weight loss show smack dab against one another, they cancel each other out.

I doubt she would be coming back anyway, and if she did it would be for more bad comedy. If Frons is as apathetic as he seems to be then he wouldn't care who does or doesn't show up at OLTL, and he would let Tonja return. Alex 1991-1993 was just a brilliant psycho, one of the best soap characters ever. Alex after that...not so much.

This was the kiss of death right here:

"The Deadline.com piece is just the latest story in a long line of stories about this same topic. There is no change for the current ABC daytime schedule."

And that was just a few weeks ago.

Just the latest in a long list of lies by ABC.

I love her, especially back when Alex was Asa's wife and the mayor, but Tonja Walker has always been a little off. I remember 5-7 years ago she did an online interview and could not stop rambling about Catherine Hickland, who she had likely never met, and the character of Lindsay, and kept insisting Lindsay had to die violently in order for Alex to reclaim her "throne."

9/11? Ouch.
