AMC and OLTL Canceled!

Yes, I do remember. I watched the two seasons of Night Shift, an amazing show that I wanted to continue. But, of course, it only

ran two seasons. Quality television it was. Of course Frons killed that, too!

I doubt fans had any impact, but if they were going to be so glib it might have been interesting to compare the primetime ratings CBS has now to when they had GL/ATWT, NBC had when they had more than one soap, etc.

ABC is sinking into such a ratings pit they might actually starting blaming soap fans at some point.

Frons could not cancel AMC and OLTL without approval from his bosses so if he is on his way out, it isn't because of that.

Robin Strasser should say whatever she wants to say. It isn't like she is going to get another job on the soaps after how she has spouted off.

If he goes I'd say it's because he's no longer needed and also because this has been a PR disaster for ABC that has gone on day after day - it must have been bad for Baba to wring her hands for him on The View.

I think Robin would make a good impact on a show like B&B. If she had some time on there I might even manage to watch an episode.

Jill has been written into such a shell of her former self it wouldn't really matter if Jess Walton, Robin Strasser or some random of the street was brought in to read the drivel Maria Bell and her minions pass off as scripted soap opera... so yeah, what the hell.
