Kassie is a great actress, one of the best ones on OLTL :P

Shouldn't we be lauding people who support soaps instead of sneering at them? *smh*

Never thought DAYS would outlive ATWT and all 3 ABC soaps.

If you think ABC's soaps being canceled is crazy wait until NBC cancels Days.

Call me a right cynical bitch but someone at Hoover PR is a marketing genius. Hoover knew the first sponsor to speak out would get the most gravy from soap fans and jumped to the top of that line. Now they get to market themselves as the company who CARES versus big bad wolf ABC.

Of course Hoover doesn't want anyone to know ABC daytime and primetime ratings sucked so bad they aren't really hurting by putting their ad dollars elsewhere.

Listen mister, if you go back through this thread, you'll see I said the same thing. How are you and I supposed to be Good Cop/Bad Cop (or in reality Good Cop/Bitter Soap Hating Bitch) if we are equally cynical? How, I ask you? HOW?

Yes, I imagine trailer parks nationwide will have riots.

DAYS has always been big in rural areas and the South and Midwest (excluding Chicago), while the ABC shows were big in urban areas, and the Northeast and West.

Girl stop! LOL! I think if we've learned anything from JPL today is that you need to be clearer when you're being sarcastic.

Wait. Are you being serious?

Thats for sure, during the OJ trial soap preemptions NBC's headquarters in NYC was always getting evacuated for bomb threats!

I think that says it all for DAYS fans! lol

Is it only daytime or primetime? In either case, ABC could totally blacklist them and decide they never want to do business with them again. They better be careful with this.

Every allocated airspace is replaceable these days.

I don't see ABC blacklisting anyone as a much of a problem for anyone but ABC, they need the advertising dollars. There are two other major networks, plus cable, Hoover has plenty of options for advertising.

Listen, my antipathy toward KdP has nothing to do w/ OLTL, and OLTL has nothing to do w/ my antipathy toward KdP. This goes way the hell back to GUIDING LIGHT, where she annoyed the crap out of me played Chelsea "What Southern Accent?" Reardon from 1987 to 1991. Girl was awful to watch then, and not much has changed about her since.

ABC has plenty of options as well. As much as Hoover may think ABC is replaceable, they are equally as replaceable to ABC.
