I loved Stabb's portrayal of Hart. He shared wonderful chemistry with Maureen Garrett's Holly. I remember hoping they would pair Hart and Holly romantically. Just imagine Roger's reaction to that pairing.

I watched GL briefly because of him. Dayum that was a fine specimen. None of the Hart that followed him did much to convince me to tune back afterward.

According to soap Central.com that is Helen Wagner playing Trudy Bauer, Meta's sister

99% sure that isn't Helen Wagner.

well according to the time of the episode 1952 and SOC its Wagner. Trudy left in 1952 and didnt return til 1957

Yeah and those early days there were lots of temps and due to the LIVE nature its hard to know and we dont have the opening where they may have said if someone was subbing as Trudy

He's cute and seems decent enough as an actor. I guess I can see why they recast him, as he seems very thoughtful and somewhat somber...and he even sort of looks like GA. Not much of a contrast between Rick and Philip.
