From 1964 that could prove difficult

Eileen, Pamela and Betsy Von Fustenberg were the only contract players to play Lisa on ATWT

Everyone else were temps

Yes, she left for religious slash actor reasons. She didn't believe that her character, a staunch Catholic latina, would be so openly embracing of her son's (mistaken) homosexuality.

Agreed. The actress (her name escapes me) simply felt Carlotta was written OOC.

It is so true! The role of Lexie, as much I love Renee Jones, has she really done anything in with the role? Or rather has she had the opportunity? She really only drove a story once in her decades on the show, the baby switch. Really, the fact that she is still a contract player is beyond me.

She's still contract so DOOL can believe they are big on diversity. Lexie and Abe have really contributed nothing to DOOL in the 20 years they'be been on. How pathetic!

Does anyone have Pamela Bach's one day as Mari Jo on Y&R in 1994? It must have been bad cause she was replaced quick with Diana Barton

Did you see those scenes air:? Regardless of her personal convictions, it was just stupid. Carlota saw Cristian with a book and automatically assumed he was gay even though he had NEVER showed any inkling of being gay. She said she always knew he was and used him eing art as an example to reinforce this. She got overly happy about having a gay son as if he was going to be the Stanford to her Carrie Bradshaw. It made absolutely no sense and was written completely out of character both for Carlota but for the history of Cristian up until that point

I saw those scenes they were awful. And having lived around Puerto Rican people for several years very few Puerto Rican mothers I've met would jump for joy over their son being gay. And I've had more than a few gay Puerto Rican friends. It's pride thing.

I'll cut the one playing Jan a tiny bit of slack since it isn't easy to play a one-note psycho with a name straight outta "Brady Bunch." But Kyle Brandt (Philip) seems lost with his shirt on.

I've heard people rave about the Jan actress but I thought she was horrible especially in that clip with CR

Here's Patrick Johnson, from a 3/93 Digest...never can remember how long he played Curtis Alden (not long).

Betsy Von Furstenberg also subbed for Eileen in 1980 around the summer months when Eileen had contracted hepatitis, not sure how long her stint was.
