On AMC there was Edmund Grey, and I think there was a Marge Grey on years earlier played by Grayson Hall. Also, Sloane or Sloan was used three times in characters who were unrelated. Most memorably there was Jasper Sloane. There was also Lois Sloane, an original minor character, and Liz Sloan, whom Edmund romanced in the mid 90s.

Pocket always makes me think of Spike on AMC. That was fine as a JOKE for the parents to laugh about, but when I realized that they were going full steam ahead with actually naming the kid that? Jeez. And I loathe with a passion when people criticize a person's unusual name.

Pocket's actual name is Tyler. The nickname was given by Steve and Kayla.

As I have been doing GH episode counts from past years and the name Johnny pops up a few times.

DAYS had a Gabby a few years ago and now they have Gabi. Plus, they have a Gabi and Abby on at the same time now.

I haven't seen many Brandons (my real name) on soaps. Brandon Spaulding(GL), I think that was a Capwell name Brandon on SB, & Brandon Walker (Days).

Passions had those unique names like Fancy & Pretty. I loved the Family names on Passions as well. The Russells, The Cranes, The Winthrops, The Hotchkisses, The Bennets, The Lopez-Fitzgeralds, The Barretts, and Tabitha Lenox!

Its also interesting being that Victoria is actually named after Victor. She was named after some guy (I want to say Kevin) mother, Nikki thought he was the father of Victoria.

I was thinking that the other day, wondering Ben or Shelia was these boys parents.

Also we have Dr. Wright, I wonder if she is related to the Wright character Phylicia Rashad played years ago?

AMC had Brandon Kingsley in the early 80s.

I love the Passions family names too! Of course all soap family names are good, you'll never see a Poindexter or Peabody or Dickensheets on a soap. Unless it's a guest character who's there for comedic relief.

Dark Shadows had Schuyler 'Sky' Rumson, one of Angelique's men.
