Terri Colombino is doing a good job now that they've actually given her character some interesting scenes. Aubrey kind of reminded me of Abby from Knots Landing, because Abby would always go up against people and remain cool and sarcastic about it.

Yeah, I think she's selling the material just fine but that really isn't saying much as we've seen spins on Dangerous Liaisons/Cruel Intentions and The Grifters before. There is nothing new about Aubrey (who reminds me of a Babe/Stacy cross), and I immediately found Rama infinitely more interesting if only for the fact that we've never seen a crafty east asian woman like this, stereotypical dialogue momentarily forgiven. Hopefully someone behind the scenes will layer in some cultural perspective to Vimal and Rama's lives and points of view.

I found 2 minutes of Rama wrapping poor Vimal around her finger and plotting, far more intriguing than months of Aubrey so far.

It's like they split the concept of her in half with Aubrey and Rama. But Kim had heart.

has Kourtney Kardashian been on yet? For very obvious reasons, it would have been interesting if they tried to pull her off as a Kim recast. That would have been a disaster, at this point I'm not convinced she'll be able to pull off the small role she's been given.

Well when she first shot him that look in the kitchen on Thanksgiving (or was it Christmas?) I wondered if they'd already done it back in London. But I'm content with their non-sexual bitter relationship. If they have or will be sexually involved, that'll be reminiscent of Asa and Blair.

(Not a bad thing, just observing.)

Kim - most of her success was down to Setton's chemistry with JvD and her having Stacy to look better than. She seemed like a cipher to me, and without Setton would probably have little impact.

The worst thing about Kim was the character. She was a sociopath who for no apparent reason other than "it's in the script" was happy to gamble with the life of an unborn child and also drug people and tell stupid lies.

Setton, even if she couldn't cry and got by more on her looks than talent, at least had chemistry with JvD. That's what made her memorable. That's also why I can't see Terri, who is too cold to have chemistry with much of anyone, working out.

You clearly aren't alone. I guess I tend to just see an actress, never a character. I also feel like her particular character has been played out by the show in recent years.
