It's such a shame that parties on Y&R no longer look as nice as they did a decade ago. I hate that the place that is the height of sophistication is an athletic club and Gloworm. Was it under Smith or Latham that The Athletic Club basically replaced The Colonade Room?

Well, it kind of speaks to what the show has become. It's lost its entire identity, so things had to change from being grand to being trash.

This show is so trashy looking now, but of course, that type of look matches the equally trashy writing. And it's not even fun trash, it's boring and poorly executed trash!

People hate starting the Y&R weekly threads. It's like: "Aww man, *I* have to start the thread." LOL Yeah and people don't talk about the show anymore because it sucks.

Hard to believe two years ago was all the deep psychological analysis of so many characters and stories.

I thought the show was sh!t even then, because I can't stand Sheffer's writing, but I'm sorry for those who loved the show and became disillusioned.

Haha! Yeah I remember even a year and a half when I got here, i would think about starting the thread...But someone always got to it first. It's sad to see that now sometimes the thread didn't even get started until like, Wednesday. LOL.

And for all it's wood paneling it used to have levels (bar, gym, dining, pool, sauna).

Now it's just the bar & one or two upstairs bedrooms.

I have stopped watching Y&R.

CBS and the old production team of P&G were the best in putting on a soap.I miss the old days.

Ditto with me and Y&R. I haven't watched it either. I tried to the other day but couldn't take it and changed it to The VIew.

I wondered how long it would be before I popped over here and found a monthly thread instead of a weekly one. Says so much about the sad state of this show. I really want to miss watching, but the stuff I see and read about online makes me sick to my stomach.

Same thing with me. Even by reading the recaps or watching snippets I get sick to my stomach. I can't bare to watch 85% of the cast, and the ones that I do have disturbingly bad stories.

Co-signing. I record this show every day, but just can't sit through it anymore. I gagged the other day when I tuned in and saw Daisy. I was like, WTF?
