Thanks for the response. I was watching pretty regularly during the LML era (dodging flames LOL). I began to lose interest when MAB took over and the whole Victor/Sabrina thing started and I never really tuned back in regualarly. I've kept up with the show through synopses and occasional viewing. BTW, just wanted to add that I thought Chris Engen was great as Adam. He brought a very quiet, very subtle tortured quality to the character. He played it as though Adam was boiling just beneath the surface. Muhney plays him less tortured, and a bit more on the mustache-twirling side. I don't find him very interesting. I don't know if it's Muhney, the writing, or both, but I find the character and his story underwhelming.

I agree. Engen knew how to play Adam as misunderstood and somewhat tortured. Muhney is only good at playing evil Adam. And even when he tries to be vulnerable and show his "human side", it just seems fake and makes him seem even more creepy and evil.

Can anyone tell me why Sharon is staying in that hovel with Adam? Did I miss her actually getting thrown out of the Newman compound?

Exactly.

It actually would be good story for she & Adam to move back to the ranch together instead of THEMOTELOFSHAME!

Speaking of that seedy ass hotel...It's so odd. So there's only ONE nice hotel in GC? It's the ahtletic club or bed bugs, basiccaly? Guess they don't have anyone inbetween financial brackets in this town...

I'd FLOVE a Paul/Diane hookup.

Won't happen.

Doug's underrated, Maura is Maura & both would definitely do fine with competent (to say nothing of good) writing but Paul hates Diane.

Sadly you're right. But I think Maura and Doug would have intense chemistry. Unlike Maura and Joshua...They are the essence of anti-chem.

I didnt realize that Nick was keeping Faith and only allowing Sharon to have supervised visits. So she chooses the man who originial let her believe her baby was dead over her own child? No words

Amen.

She's so ridiculous. "Adam I just KNOWWWWWWWW you're innnocent and we are gonna PROVE IT! And i will get my daughter BACK!"...Uhm, scuse me bitch but how's that gonna get Faith back? Sure, MAYBE Adam didn't kill Skye, but he still TOOK YOUR BABY and killed Ashley's...Not to mention Hightower....

SHe's just so incredibly stupid and officially dead as a character.

Engen was great for Adam as initially introduced (as you said subtle but tortured) but there's no way he could've handled the horrible corners Maria/Hogan/Hamner/Rauch wrote the character into.

It took Muhney a while to make the part his own. He definitely does share of Billy Miller scenery chewing but he's also managed to make a repulsive character (in spite of the writer's awful pacing) somewhat sympathetic. He also got lucky in that he has a TON of chemistry with Sharon Case (though again the writing remains awful) which is why Maria's (unsuccessfully) trying to use her to rehab him.

Nick abandoned his family (at their lowest point) for the mother of the child he blamed for killing his daughter & is currently happily sleeping with one of his ex stepmothers (one who his father, mother, sister, OTHER ex wife & ex step father all hate).

So while Sharon's choice is horrible Nick really has no moral high ground.

Yep.

It's why Brad's house can burn down yet be exactly the same the next day.

I'm surprised they didn't go there since it was the obvious thing to do.

It also helps that he goes against several characters who are hypocrites and/or portrayed by bad actors.

Awww...Paul hates her? I suppose 'cause she cheated on Andy with Jack.

I must have been loopy on cold meds, but I was thinking Ronan and Diane would be hot. Can you imagine Maura and Tricia Cast snarking at each other? O. M. G.

Which means Maria won't do it.

She prefers her SHADAMVSTHEWURLD story.

UGH.

[Giggly Heffa] Definitely! [/Giggly Heffa]

Yep.

And cause she ruined Jack/Patty.

Loathing of Jeff Branson aside anything that pairs Maura & Tricia would be worth it.

It's a shame Y&R shelved the Jack/Paul rivalry a long time ago. I always thought that was more interesting than the endless Jack/Victor feud.

He must have attended the John McBain School for Tough Cops. Ugh.

Speaking of Ronan, he and Hooters stripping down in the park  What a tedious couple.
