4/6/92 there is remote footage of Jack driving into the Newman ranch. This is the only time I remember seeing the outside of the ranch. Anyone remember there is remote footage in other eps?

Not the same part of the ranch, but May 27, 1987 when Nikki spies Ashley and Victor kissing and decides to keep her remission a secret.

When Jack rescued Nick from drowning in  the pool,that was the Ranch I believe.

What was the set up for that? Why was Nick in trouble?

Not Nicholas. Victoria fell into the ranch pool and Jack saved her.

That was spring or summer 1990, Victoria was 7 years old.

That’s right. Nikki was perhaps going to leave Jack, but she re-committed to him when he randomly saw Victoria drowning in the pool and saved her.

As it's been said, it was Victoria, but there was no big set up. Nikki and Jack were in the house arguing (this was during the fallout of her learning he only married her to get Jabot back) and she kept saying she had to go, because Victoria was ready to go to the pool. She didn't realize Victoria was already outside playing, and slipped into the water. Jack heard her calling out as he was leaving. Those were some of the last scenes played by Ashley Nicole Milian.

Thanks all for the correction. I guess if a 7 yr old who knew how to swim accidentally fell into a pool she might panic and not be able to save herself.

Apart from that time has apool at the ranch been mentioned before or after?

We were always aware of the Chancellor and Abbott pools.

We were always aware of the Chancellor and Abbott pools.

They always used a set other than that time but its been used on and off during the years. I remember young Nick and Sharon, and Victoria and Cole having romantic nights there and a party when Cassie was adopted. 

Was this double recast - Sharon now played by Sharon Case and Doris now played by Karen Hensel, both in the same scene - the only time such a thing happened?
