Good too see some older clips in HD. Some of the material looks less dark and shadowy than i remember once digitized.

Aside from the actors choosing their favorite moments, it seems like the same clips always come up when the show does rememberace periods. Prime example l, Michael's proposal to Lauren.

How close do you all think we classic Y&R fans are, if at all, to the entire series being streamed on some online platform?? Do you all think it could happen this year for the 50th anniversary or in the coming years?? Will it ever happen??

Was it later in that episode or the next one that Phyllis showed up at Rex's funeral reception and made the rounds? I remember a scene with Phyllis introducing herself to Victor and a pregnant Hope, and maybe the Abbotts.

The clip looked so beautiful in High Def! It makes me wish even more they had these as full episodes exclusive too CBS.com or Paramount Plus.

I also like that you can see other characters in the background like, Nikki,Ryan,Gina, John, Victor and Hope.

And the set is gorgeous too! Beautiful large Jesus statue because the Romalottis are Catholic. There's actually attention to detail.

I AGree!!!! It's A pity they couldn't make the full episodes of The Actors' Choices Available instead of Only Clips!

Granted, I've only seen 3 Thanksgivings so far, but I felt the same... the only one coming to mind was 1997 when Meta led the Bauer's to jail to have Thanksgiving dinner with Abby. I can't really remember anything special from 1995 or 1996, and my notes don't have much.

Chuckie was Meta's son, only there in the radio years. I'm sure someone else will know the story better than I do, but Meta had given him up for adoption. She married his biological father, Ted White, to be a part of his life, but she was very unhappy and full of neuroses. Ted was obsessed with the idea that Chuckie wasn't manly enough, and took him camping, made him take boxing lessons. Chuckie died during one of the boxing lessons, I think (I'm not sure). Meta lost her mind and shot and killed Ted. Viewers got to decide Meta's fate - they found her not guilty via temporary insanity. I think this is also how Meta met her next husband, Joe Roberts.

DAYS: December 2025 Discussion Thread

Today was a bit of a mixed bag. Not much happened. And we definitely should have gotten some follow-up with Chad, Tony and Kristen.
But poor Xander.
He did look hot at the beginning though 😂😂😍
And while I don't mind him moving on with someone else, for a little while anyway, I really wish that it wasn't with Gwen. There are other people on the canvas that he can be paired with, and other people who could have comforted him today. Stephanie, for example. And I did like the dorkiness of Maggie, Sarah and Holly. It's always nice to see Maggie catch up with her family. Btw, was the mention of Joe and Vic supposed to be foreshadowing?
I was also liking the dynamic between Abe and Theo, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens, and if or how it's going to be tied to everything that EJ is doing at the clinic.
