Well I'm a huge fan of Aras and Nick right now...haha. I think you know why.

Anyway - this season is AWESOME. I love how there are 4 diff. tribes. Let's you root for whatever sex/age you want.

Ok, they made a HUGE mistake by voting out Tina. Are you kidding me? Wow.

Loved it, could be better than last year! My only complaint is that Tina was voted out over the ridiculously annoying Cirie. I wonder what that was about???

The younger men are a joke which really surprises me. I thought the women would struggle ala Amazon, but this wasn't the case.

So far my favorite tribe is the Older Men.

Tina was great. I thought she was sweet she was a hard worker but she failed to get to know her tribe. She isolated herself and that's a no no in Survivor. You can be the hardest worker but you need to play the Social Part. I thought Cirie was so ghetto. I loved her.

My early favorites are Cirie, Ruth Marie, Sally, Misty, Shane & Terry.

I felt so sorry for Tina being voted out. Her story about her son dying was soooo sad...

Anyway, what will happen if a tribe is left with only two people? Will the other tribes have to sit people out to level the playing field?

As for the Exile Island Clue I think it was Jeff's comment about "not bothering with the water". The fate speech came off as a decoy...

OMG, I would SO be on the mature woman tribe then, if I were on the show.....that stinks. I'm NOT old!! :o

ICAM. The are the *older* women, and really should have kept the strongest one (Tina) at least until

the tribes got switched around. Stupid move on their part....I hope they go DOWN now! <_<

I hate when alliances dominate the show and becomes predictable.

I want to see some back stabbing dammit! Not the crapfest that was Survivor: All Stars!

Really hoping Cirie does some major scheming next week to get Shane voted out... he has too much power and control over the others.

Looking forward to how the Exiled do once they return to the tribe and have to vote.

Previews look interesting: Shane going psycho

Big wrestling fights between girls and guys.

    • Wasn't Taylor Miller still playing Nina during the period that Devon was on the show? She was also written out around the time Julia Barr left and Brooke was recast. I wonder if they brought her back because being the doomed non-Nina love interest to Cliff was something they didn't want to give to a woman they cared about, and they didn't want to create yet another Kennicott relation. Then having her for the Lynn Carson story also made sense because if there was intense viewer backlash, she could easily be written out.
    • I also like how they've set up all the pieces where they could do yet another "shocking Gio parentage reveal" in another year or so if they want to. Because it's not at all implausible that teenage BLQ would have sexually experimented with both Dante and Cody. So if they want another violin-smashing moment next year, just have Gio find out that Cody is his real bio-dad.
    • I agree, also am able to see various points of view. Lulu, Lois & I think the two of them are going to rival one another for the heat they are going to take.
    • When you think about it, someone who stayed on for as long as Devon must have some fans out there. She also had an alcohol issue. I saw a host of episodes with her and Cliff on YouTube. I wanna say that’s who Cliff was entertaining while Nina had the affair with Steve.  Do you believe she lasted so long because Brooke left and they kept recasting Nina?

    • Thanks again @Paul Raven  It shows you just what a unique and memorable performer Denise Alexander was that I can see her in these moments and hear her even though I've never watched any of the material. On paper it probably wasn't up to much, but I do wish I could see her playing it. Meanwhile, the Diana material continues to seem like one plate of ass after another...I was thinking she had finally been able to move on with the therapy breakthrough, but then we're right back with her believing Peter and Leslie are having an affair. I don't know how much further off the material is that made Valerie Starrett leave, but I can't blame her.  I see less and less of Jessie anywhere in this - is this when Emily's health troubles were starting to phase her out of story? Going a few summaries back, writing out Lee, Caroline, her son and his wife seems so rushed. It's a shame Marland, or whoever, killed off all of them (aside from Lee), as they might have given Lee some story down the line. Or maybe the daughter-in-law survived too - I can't remember.
    • Thanks!  I compiled the list and posted it for the 59th anniversary in November, but just made the updates now for the couple of new cast members we've had since then! Didn't realize until I did the update that Peyton is the first-ever contract actor born in Nevada, so that's another state off the 0 list!
    • What I love about this story is that I can empathize with both Lulu's point of view AND Lois's point of view. I can understand why Lulu thinks it's important for the truth to come out and why she feels a moral obligation to let Dante know he has a son. But these good intentions have gotten all mixed up with her hatred for BLQ, and so she's going about it like a self-righteous bully who hasn't thought through all the consequences of this reveal. And I can understand Lois's thought process keeping this secret. She couldn't bear to give her grandson away to strangers, and so she arranged an adoption that kept him in the family. From her perspective, it's worked out beautifully because as Gio grew up as a "Palmieri cousin", he got to know his father Dante, his mother Brook Lynn, and his grandfather Sonny. She just had the hubris to believe that she could play God and keep the secret forever.  Maybe it's just getting to see Cynthia Watros and Laura Wright in full-on catfight mode a few days ago, but the show is starting to remind me of Guiding Light in its heyday, where most of the drama comes from the interactions of long-running characters who are likeable in some ways but have enough fatal flaws that they create their own problems. That's a sharp contrast for the way GH has generally been written since the JFP era, where most of the drama comes from external threats: supervillians, Sweeps month disasters, the mob shootout of the week.
    • Wow, @JAS0N47, that list of states was impressive! And I never knew that James Read hailed from near me! (I was born and raised in a nearby city, about 15 minutes away!) (Liked him since he played Murphy Michaels on Remington Steele when I was a kid. As an older kid, I also loved him on North and South!)
    • Oh, I remember this vividly! So trippy to see Mike Brady as a devil-worshiping judge. LOL! (With the mustache and curly hair in some pics, Reed seemed to have a surface resemblance to early-Jeopardy Alex Trebek!)
