Thanks, Chit. LOL! I was thinking that if TWD was a soap opera, the group would eventually take Phillip and Merle in. Beth would fall in love with Merle and order her father, Glenn, and Maggie to forgive him because he has a "good heart." While Maggie would fall in love with Phillip who is just "misunderstood" and eventually dump Glenn who has loved and risked everything for her. RME.

Does anyone read Erik Kain's The Walking Dead reviews on Forbes? It is one of my favorites. I think he is pretty insightful. This week's review is particularly good. Here is the URL: http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2013/03/25/the-walking-dead-season-3-episode-15-review-this-sorrowful-life/

This is from last week but Norman Reedus talks about all the showrunner changes.

Ever since I saw a comment on TWOP that Daryl has Jane Fonda's hair from Klute, I can't stop seeing that.

I thought the best scene Rooker had last week was either the stuff in the car with Michonne or him in the cells with Rick before he left. "I don't know why I do the things I do. I'm a damned mystery to me." I've always liked Michael Rooker since he was a jobbing character actor in stuff like Cliffhanger - he's always had that intensity, but also something very frail beneath, I think.

I am glad they have let Michonne open up as a character, not a cartoon like she is in the comic book, where she's the Angry Black Woman. She has a lot more facets here.

    • Lucky said he’s gonna travel this summer with Aidan. It was a quick line. Willow looks dumber by the day somehow.
    • Well, I do love a good soap himbo who can wear some pants...and very much blue jeans.

But yeah, I can see it. I saw it more with Hayley though.
    • Ewww....I love MKA, but GL wasted her returns. I do think she sleeps with Ross, or gets darn close.   So...against my better judgment, I slid into '86 to find Vanessa confessing to Henry about being pregnant...and it's NOT William Roerick, DAMN IT. It's some damn temp Henry. But then it gets weirder because I'm listening in German, and it's the same voice fooling me.
    • I hope the writers understand how pathetic and stupid Willow looks in order to continue this madness with Drew. Willow has become a laughingstock. Lucky didn't say goodbye to Aidan? Pathetic!!! Maybe then she can buy clothes that fit her. The blouse she had on today was three sizes too big.
    • I really enjoyed the first half of season 9. It was dark but Emma, Angela, Lance and Richard were front and center.  Pilar and Frank were finally interesting.  Charley, Michael and Genele came in and caused a lot of drama.  It was even sexier. I also liked the new into theme music. Then the second half of the season went to hell.
    • Something that I love about Dani is that despite her issues with Bill, she's always encouraged her daughters to have a relationship with him. I also believe that she does have a great amount of love for him which is why she is so hurt that he's sick. I've loved them including her in his recovery. It feels real and their chemistry is just insane so any chance for more of it is welcomed. That would be the perfect karma. Kat needs to learn boundaries and not be so impulsive, but I still feel like the Duprees are going to clear Leslie. How? I don't know, but that's what I think is going to happen. I feel like she'll get some kind of blackmail over them which will cause them to clear the slate. Of course the show never goes where you expect so I'm sure they'll do something different but I'm definitely curious how she will manage this.
    • Darn you Jane Elliot...you have me crying...that's how superb her acting is in these scenes with Gio. Speak on it.
    • The story has been glossed over and taken over by the lunacy redux. I wonder if they noticed how poorly the ratings are with the Liam story and went all lunacy.
    • @soapfan770Thank you so much for posting that! I know the final season of Falcon Crest is controversial but I thought it was a fantastic swing that mostly worked. The only thing that would've made it better is if they had more money which hopefully could've kept Emma full season. I feel like that was her strongest arc since season one and I wish she had remained so we could've seen her as a mother. I also wish they had more Angela but that was obviously out of their control. As different as it was, I felt season 9 to be very true to the initial gothic roots of the series.
