I loved it too. The old chemistry was still there. Even Debbie, while still slightly ditzy, was a welcome sight.

If I were a current View co-host watching that, I'd be quaking in my boots.

It was good. I like that they even had them do opening shots for the new credits. Meredith really should come back once Whoopi goes.

They should have saved Tom Selleck for today's episode.

Just watched the Hot Topics segment with Meredith, Star, Joy and Debbie...it was GREAT! They need to just fire everyone except Joy and bring those three back.

I agree but I'd keep Jed & Sunny as they are the best additions in a long time.

Whoopi's big salary prevents them from hiring them back

I wish Meredith would return next season as moderator. give her a one year deal. she fits the show like a glove.

Interesting the View is having a great 20th season. maybe Candi Carter being the EP a much improved panel and the election season. why do u think the view is having a good season?

Thank Donald Trump for the ratings spikes. The View has done well because Whoopi, Joy and Jed have really upped their game since last winter when Trump decided to run. We all know CCB and Raven haven't helped w/ the ratings much.

Today was another great day on the show!

The thing is, The View is bragging about their ratings being up...but they've plummeted from where they used to be.

The Talk is a success story and it's ratings are comparatively stable. The View's current ratings bump is influenced by the election, for certain, but whether its viewers will get fatigued is yet to be seen. The Talk stays completely away from politics so its ratings are easier to predict.

Again nothing will be higher then Rosie versus Liz 10 years ago. The View never was a huge ratings hit until season 1 of Rosie. Its had fantastic ratings this season. Over 3 million is great numbers. I think they finally have a better panel and the election is helping.

Shocking no one, Candace announced she's leaving The View. I think today is her first day back and last day all at the same time.

Are they even going to bother with having Paula say she's out? I mean, it's a joke at this point. I guess they could keep Paula as a fill-in.
