On the back of my 1995 viewing, I’m curious to know…

I heard mentioned somewhere that there are scenes between Julie and Carly - I’m fascinated particularly because this was when Maura West had just joined and Susan Marie Snyder was about to finish up - some people described it as almost a “changing of the guard” of sorts, considering that Julie’s original motivations were quite similar to Carly’s. Do these scenes even exist?

Julie and Carly were friends, although this did not stop Carly from sleeping with Caleb. When Julie decided to leave town, Carly convinced Caleb to join her at the last minute as she was worried he was going to tell people about their one-night stand.

Unlike a number of people written out around this time (looking at you, Shannon and Duncan), Julie's last year on the show was one of her best.

Carly and *Caleb*?? That storyline did not appear AT ALL in any of the 1995 episodes I’ve seen. I’m intrigued now…

Carly didn't sleep with Caleb. They kissed. Carly later told Rosanna that he was coming on to her, but that was so Ro would move them out of the farm and into a nice apartment.

I wouldn't have called Carly and Julie friends, but I do remember that they were both working at the Yacht Club, and when Julie wanted to go visit her kids, Carly loaned her some money. It was only nice things Carly did during her original run.

I didn’t get to see Reid all that much. Jean and Chris Goutman had pretty much driven me away by that point 😂

But it was ridiculous that Luke and Reid didn’t end up together in the end.
