I was talking more about the NY Post article and her saying DWTS had contacted her than about the friends.

The Colleen Zenk thing is very interesting. She's one of my favorites, but was never a big marquee name as far as soaps go. I wonder how well she'd do if she DID get cast. Would enough people know about her to make her somewhat successful? Would certainly be an odd choice of soap star for this show.

DWTS returns March 21. No Derek next season.

Cast will be announced during The Bachelor on Monday February 28th.

I'm relieved for the break from Derek. I just hope this doesn't mean that annoying showboat Julianne will be back.

I wonder if Derek might end up going over to X Factor if his pal Cheryl Cole is involved.

These days the amount of pros I'd rather not see is higher than those I want to see. I mostly just want to see Kym, Jonathan (with a decent partner!), and Anna T.

Derek won't be on this season because he's filming a new 3D dance movie and wants to concentrate on that. He said he will be back for the following season though (13).
