So Dee Dee, what's up with the emmy noms? I notice last year, that NONE of the nominees were recurring, they were all contract players, is there some kind of rule that a recurring actor cna't be nominated?

Recurring actors can be nominated but with Y&R it's a popularity contest.

It's also a way of trying to convince people of their favorites...they have been propping Liz Hendrickson for ages and they will keep on. Reigel is another they invested in and are going to want to make a star out of whether she justifies it or not. Tricia Cast, they probably think she's lucky to have a job.

Gotta say that even though I've been missing Michael Muhney and Sharon Case, Y&R has been rather good this past week.

Gotta say that even though I've been missing Michael Muhney and Sharon Case, Y&R has been rather good this past week.

The actress playing Skye is also fab and these three actors nearly make this story work. But it's soooo redundant and crap-dead on arrival, I'm beyond sick of the mega-squad (one thing that can be said about nearly everyone on this show).

BTW; Eden Riegel is by far the worst actress to EVER hit Genoa City. I can't think of anyone else so one-note and downright bad.
