Bummer we will not get a Valene/JR scene. They didn't have many opportunities to work together but the few scenes they did have were all good.

I completely lost it when Sue Ellen was speaking at JR's funeral.....absolutely crazy. I wasn't expecting her to confess to drinking and I sure as hell wasn't expecting that letter to have that much of an effect on me.

And the end with her saying she would meet him for dinner...so sad. I never watched the original and I freely admit that perhaps Sue Ellen wasn't this great love in Old Dallas like they're making her out to be in this new version. However I think the two of them were so amazing together and their scenes together had so much depth and warmth.

Will def be keeping an eye out for Josh on Live with Kelly & Michael.....:)

You should get some of the Dallas dvds to catch up on the history with Sue Ellen and JR....there is a lot of them on youtube too.

I think JR did love Sue Ellen. At least as much as he could love any woman other than Miss Ellie. He just loved power and control a lot more.
