September 2, 201015 yr Author Administrator So last week was DAYS' biggest week of the year......a big secret came out at a wedding...... there were 9 months or so of build up......for what.......NOTHING! Bravo Dena Higley, Chris Whitesell, Gary Tomlin, Bravo! What is it going to take for Corday to finally give up on his infatuation with Dena Higley.

Bravo Dena Higley, Chris Whitesell, Gary Tomlin, Bravo! What is it going to take for Corday to finally give up on his infatuation with Dena Higley. Why they timed such a big reveal for such a low viewership month like August is beyond me. Maybe they got spooked by the low ratings in July. Although if they ended up maintaining their gains from the past 2 weeks, then it could be looked at as a plus. Otherwise their ratings might have dropped had it been a "normal" week, if that makes any sense. I think they felt like they could pull the trigger because they have so much to follow it up with. The reveal isn't the end of the story, it's the beginning of the next chapter. They should've stretched it to September, but I guess they felt like they couldn't wait.
September 2, 201015 yr Member I thought DAYS was great last week. If people weren't tuning in, their loss. What did it get in households, Toups?
September 2, 201015 yr Member Once again, no ABC press release issued? With The View in repeats, I dont see how ABC can be #1 for W18-49.
September 2, 201015 yr Member Days was Awesome last week. If they didn't get a bump last week, Days is probably doomed! I hope OLTL goes up..
September 3, 201015 yr Member Is DAYS watchable again? I tuned out in early July...I kind of miss it but at the time it was all Chloe: I CANT TELL HIM Carly: YOU HAVE TO OR I WILL. I got bored. Should i watch again?
September 3, 201015 yr Member OLTL was the only one to gain a few viewers, which is not saying a lot but, I guess everyone was vacationing and school is back in session for a lot of folks. Edited September 3, 201015 yr by MontyB
September 3, 201015 yr Author Administrator Why they timed such a big reveal for such a low viewership month like August is beyond me. Agreed. What horrible timing. Spilling this at the end of August, really? Total Viewers 4. DAYS 2,475,000 (-50,000/-286,000) HH 3. DAYS 1.8/6 (same/-.3) <- ties low rating (8th straight week) Women 18-49 Viewers 3. DAYS 758,000 (+12,000/-119,000) Women 18-49 Rating 3. DAYS 1.1/8 (same/-.3) That's it? That is not good enough for the biggest week for the year. That is not good enough for a huge revelation. That is not good enough for 9 months of build up.
September 3, 201015 yr Member Looks like there's plenty of pain to go around this week. Next week's numbers will probably be just as bad with the holiday coming up.

Bravo Dena Higley, Chris Whitesell, Gary Tomlin, Bravo! What is it going to take for Corday to finally give up on his infatuation with Dena Higley. This. As I've said before, it would have been more engaging if the reveal was more public. Instead, Sami asks everybody to leave and it became ho hum. Great acting, but I was still rather bored. Typical Higley--not surprised at the numbers.
September 3, 201015 yr Member Brenda's return a complete failure!! Barbara's and Henry's wedding didnt do much for ATWT. I figured that since I dont think they are the right couple to be together. Although they did go up in viewers from Thursday's show. I have a feeling ATWT is going to finish at #3 in total viewers and HH's their last week. They are already #5 in Total Viewers and HH's.
