The cheap wardrobe, horribly lit sets, and bright, tacky furniture on this show look like something out of Edge of Night. Everyone lives in a high rise loft, everyone's wearing late 70's fashions, and there are always multiple people at someone's apartment, the hospital, or the courtroom. The only thing missing is Sharon Gabet, the chest hair from the male co-stars, and oh...yeah...GOOD STORY!

GOD!

TATYANA ALI IS BEING WASTED ON THIS SHOW!

You have a gorgeous, talented young girl from primetime/films who could bring a solid following from those 18-49 who aren't too young to remember Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a girl who could probably have chemistry with ANY-ONE, and she appears twice a month. I'm pretty sure that's not HER choice to be recurring either, seeing that she still comes back for her 1st and 15th stints.

Put the Vanilla Macchiato back on the Starbucks menu where she belongs and offer this beautiful, talented girl a contract and do something with her other than make her a stupid sounding board for Devon who is a stupid sounding board for Lily who is a stupid sounding board for Cane's problems!

Jennifer Johns stole Chloe's outfit from Terry Davis' wardrobe chest circa 1979/1980.

And Lily going to Australia and being on a farm raising cows and chickens is laughable. Lily doesn't do anything that involves "brown." Like dirt, mud, cows that aren't white, eggs that are brown, hired help.

    • I got the impression Andre was opening up to Dani about his feelings, that's why I thought he was about to admit he was in love with her. Dani has no idea that what's good for her is right in front of her face. Tomorrow we might get a love scene set to an R&B slow jam.
    • No, he was pining for that walking sleeping pill Ashley, and then later texted Dani for a hookup when he felt lonely. He and Dani got into it a bit as she’s not ready to be seen openly with him still, and they both realized they were hung up on other people - Andre on Ashley (thought he never said her name) and especially Dani on Bill.  Of course neither learnt anything and then proceeded to have sex again.
    • I'm glad there's a pool set if only for the eye candy. I do think they need to be careful when filming. Today, the direction was off with Kai in the pool -- it looked like he was sitting in a wading pool, and it was clear there was no depth to the water. Also, as I mentioned before, the view from those large windows looks fake as hell.
    • From my notes: San Cristobal with an “a” is from ANOTHER WORLD. Mac, Carl, their fathers, Ian Rains & his father, and Paulina had history on that equatorial island. Paulina was visiting there researching her past & fell for both Ian & Jake McKinnon! San Cristobel with an “e” is from GUIDING LIGHT and is the island kingdom where Prince Richard & Prince Edmund were from. Others with history there were Reva when she was Princess Katherine, Jonathan, Olivia, etc.
    • Schenkel was indeed a disaster.     During 1985, the following characters exited the show: Brian Bancroft, Sandy Cory, Blaine Ewing Cory, Jamie Frame, the first Peter Love, Alice Matthews Frame, Ben McKinnon, Vince McKinnon, Mark Singleton, Perry Hutchins, Grant Todd, and Tony the Tuna.   The following characters were introduced and quickly disappeared Chris Chapin, Neal Cory, Dee Evans, Daniel Gabriel, Michaud Christophe, Edward Gerard, Daphne Grimaldi, Zane Lindquist, and Brittany Peterson.   The only successful characters Schenkel introduced were Bridget Connell, Vicky Hudson, and Jake McKinnon.   Schenkel recasted the popular Sally Frame with Taylor Miller when Mary Page Keller left AW.  Also, he recasted Peter Love twice in 1985 with Christopher Holder and Marcus Smythe.   Schenkel brought back Carl Hutchins for the Egyptian/Arizona treasure story with the poisonous dust.
    • Was Andre about to use the L word with Dani?
    • Honestly, she should have went splat on the bottom since it looks only 4 feet or less.  I stopped watching by that time, but since they were in L.A. I could believe it.
    • My mistake. San Cristobal. I've seen it as Alamainia, Alamainland, and my personal favorite, Ubilam ("Malibu" spelled backwards). I was sticking to non-U.S. locations, but I suppose Aremid could have been Canadian. Ah, yes. Haiti?
    • You're very, very welcome! Nice seeing things appreciated.
    • No, not just you. And I think I remember that set; honestly, a lot of the L.A. sets stand out more in my head, and their stellar outdoor scenes.
