Yes, Kent Masters-King would have been great, acceptable at very least.

If they were going to kill her off they should have done it long ago when it would have been emotionally palpable, now the reaction is just fan anger. If you're gonna keep somebody lying in a coma for THAT long, I expect nothing less than Reversal of Fortune.

He was just trying to drum up some half-assed drama for Cristian and Layla because he's scared to give them a real story.

And will she even get a funeral? Can't wait for that emotional montage of various cast members talking to her hand that keeps changing shades.

All I know about Evangeline is...

Cris tells Todd, and Layla runs into Blair and John, and tells them that she killed her sister passed away

I know she won't get a funeral, but I hope at the very least we get some scenes with Layla telling Nora....and I guess John, but he will show no emotion. He didn't even look liked her cared when Marty miscarried.

A bit role where she gets to be "sassy" and sleep with brothers and a son would damage her more than it would ABC.

They can always just say Evangeline isn't actually dead, they can say Eli spirited her away, or that her mother faked Evangeline's death and is taking care of her elsewhere. No one on a soap is dead.
