July 15, 201015 yr Member So OLTL is up .2 in that category and so is GH. I cant believe ABC is promoting..happy about the 0.9 rating for AMC. That's an awful number and should not be part of their report...lol I've never quite understood the reasoning behind what goes in the spin report.
July 15, 201015 yr Member All Networks are up in Total Viewers from last week. Its about time soaps had a decent week!
July 15, 201015 yr Member All Networks are up in Total Viewers from last week. People extending their vacations from the 4th, maybe?
July 15, 201015 yr Member People extending their vacations from the 4th, maybe? I know a lot of people had Monday off the day after the 4th. But of course ABC soaps werent shown on Monday just CBS and Days.
July 15, 201015 yr Member All Networks are up in Total Viewers from last week. A good portion of the country experienced a heatwave last week. That might've kept more folks indoors, just like snowstorms do in the winter. Who knows...
July 15, 201015 yr Member I hope OLTL and Days goes up! OLTL is a lot better than what the ratings suggests. I don't like the Ford show either, but there are some good soapy stories on OLTL that I am enjoying.

July 15, 201015 yr Member YESSS OLTL at a 1.1 in demos and AMC 0.9. HAHAA!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why are you happy? OLTL has NOT... shown consistant growth or numbers in the demos. Someone mentioned that they will have one good week in the demos but have 2 bad weeks. Also OLTL has been the lowest rated ABC soap and actually the lowest rated soap in general. Nothing to be happy about. Which ones? I am not seeing them. Neither am I.

OLTL beats AMC in everything except total viewers and men, 2 things that really dont matter. Whens the last time AMC hit a 1.0 in the key demo? Whatever im happy and i have every right to be.

When a network sees that the show is LAST...and ALWAYS LAST in the TV and HH that's not good even with "okay" numbers in the demos. OLTL is ALWAYS under ATWT which is CANCLED! That is NOT good what so ever. Also I want to see ATWT ratings. Its been better as of late.

I hope it went up for the six straight week in a row in viewers and the 5th straight week of year to year gains Edited July 15, 201015 yr by AS THE WORLD TURNS
July 15, 201015 yr Author Administrator CBS coded Monday's episode as special....and of course they were the highest rated episode of the week. I guess they didn't want a higher average for this week to make next week's rating not have a big fall? I don't understand why they would want to code a holiday as a special. 5.57 million people watched Monday's Y&R episode and it didn't count. *shakes head*

If not, they probably thought it was going to be one of their lower-rated episodes for the week. They're probably kicking themselves now for doing that.
July 15, 201015 yr Member If the ABC soaps are going to survive they all need to go up. I don't think AMC being flat in demos makes any improvement for OLTL, it just makes it more likely both AMC and OLTL would be at risk.
