That could have worked. I think the show did start referencing Susannah again later on (or am I making that up).

I dipped in and out of OLTL so often after 1994 or so, so I couldn't say for certain.  But I definitely would've brought Susannah back to help Viki and Jessica re-integrate their respective personalities and maybe get to the bottom of how and why Viki's alters re-emerged even after she had successfully integrated them before.

There's a sub for Kristen Vigard on the 1-13-81 episode of Guiding Light. But I have no idea who it is.

Oh, and I spotted Julie Warner (Doc Hollywood, Tommy Boy) on the 1-12 episode, talking to Morgan.

Was watching an episode of GL from April 86 and there was announcement the part of Beth is being played by Lisa Lockridge(?). How long did she sub for Judi?

A medical issue, maybe. Not sure.

Felicity was close friends with McTavish, who was headwriter at this time.

I know there was talk or maybe rumor of Malone using Susannah when he came back in 2003-04, but I can't remember if anything ever came of it onscreen or if she was even mentioned by name again. I tended to keep track of those random mentions he did at the time of long-forgotten or unseen characters he likely had plans for, like Tina and C.J. (both of which got scrapped) or the mostly-aborted influx of Marcie's father and brothers, which though several appeared I think was originally supposed to be a much bigger family than it ended up being onscreen. (Possibly pairing the father with Viki and the gay brother with C.J., etc.)
