Members yr9190 Posted May 6, 2012 Members Share Posted May 6, 2012 I watched Jeanne Coopers emmy legends interview and apparently she said that Mickey Rooney was asked to play the role of Morey, that old man who was apart of the Katherine/Marge story that helped Lil the other woman keep Kay and Esther hostage (He was played by Morey Amsterdam) but Rooney thought the money they were offering him was nothing compared to other stuff he has done. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members Vee Posted May 6, 2012 Members Share Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) I thought Susan Haskell was a decent choice for the Lily recast that shouldn't have happened. Noelle Beck is a good actress but seemed utterly uncomfortable and plasticine in the role, too prim and distanced. It was like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Joseph Bottoms, James Hyde, and Ramy Zada were all considered for the emergency temp recast of Brad Snyder before Roy Eudon got the role. Rachel Miner auditioned for AMC's bad girl, Risa.
