David Hasselhoff Scrubs In for The Young and the Restless

On June 15, David Hasselhoff returns to Genoa City as Dr. William ''Snapper'' Foster — the same pre–Knight Rider role he played on the CBS soap from 1975 to 1982. The dashing doc is back for five episodes to care for his sick mom, Liz (Julianna McCarthy), and deal with family drama involving his sister, Jill (Jess Walton, top right), and Liz's friend Katherine (Jeanne Cooper, center). ''I adore those people,'' says Hasselhoff, who took the trip down memory lane with his real-life daughter Taylor, who plays the nurse (far left). ''They're still like family to me.'' —Lynette Rice

She does look good with the longer hair. Women tend to buy into the "rule" that the older you get, the shorter you should wear your hair. It's true in many cases, but as with this example, not always the case. I have a vague early childhood memory of Kay taking her pinned hair down... hmmm, maybe it was somebody else, let me think about that...

At any rate, this looks nice. I think it's cool that DH is coming back, and let's face it, he's the exact kind of star Y&R would try to recruit had he not had a history with the show anyway.

I was wondering the same thing...that hair does look a little longer than usual. Keep it growing Jess, it cuts 15 years off your looks (and you already look great).

I can't fault Hasselhoff, he's going to try his best. That's more than I can say for MAB & Co these days...

I've always liked the Fosters. I floved Julianna McCarthy back in the day. The writing is going to suck.

As for Jess...love her hair long...maybe Rauch told her to keep it long or he would bring back Brenda Dickson.laugh.gifph34r.gif

The Hoff: "I adore those people."

What people? Most of the people you worked with are either dead or retired.

Brenda Dickson isn't there, we're getting one of the lesser-known Greg Fosters (hell, even Howard McGillin's better than Wings Hauser), and Liz Foster will probably kick the old bucket. This is going to suck.

I scratched my head on that one too, he really could have said, "I adore Julianna and Jeanne, and I've grown to love everyone else I've worked with here in this short period of time."

I'd freak out if Brenda were to return....lol.wub.gif

The Hoff looks slightly off - despite his personal drama - compared to how he looked just last week on ET or whatever drivel I was watching to get my celeb dose. Either a bad screencap or really bad makeup...

Jess however is looking muy fierce!

LMAO @ Gray Bunny!

I'm looking forward to this story - "five episodes" is a collossal let-down, though,
