The problem is they didn't bring Kelly back, they brought Gina Tognoni back. The character is an afterthought, and, like Tea, a horrible flashback to some of OLTL's worst years, IMO.

Have we seen Addie during any of this? Was she at Melinda's funeral? I ask with trepidation, I don't want any Cramers to have had ANYthing to do with this, just covering the bases.

Any guesses on who's behind this? I also think it really sucks when people get killed just to hurt other people. Like, gee thanks, sucks to be middle-man me. Who's out to hurt Kelly? Hitherto unmentioned character?

Marty had a good year or two, before she became all about rape, and I thought the rapemance story worked, initially, on her return.

I think Tea and Kelly were awful characters, in very forced, cold, heavily propped stories, from very early on.

Honestly, I don't think that Marty is needed on the canvas right now. Other than this baby stuff, she doesn't really seem to serve a purpose anymore.

I think Susan Haskell has at least another few months before she is fired.

I agree, but I think she had potential at one point. Kelly never has. They only brought her back because Gina was a star on GL. Kelly as a character, especially in her run, was worthless. To see a daily reminder of some of the most disgusting stories ever on OLTL, like the Brendan story and Kelly being written as a victim for killing a baby and covering up her murder...it doesn't exactly make me want to tune in.

I thought SH did a great job today, but I just can't watch Marty cry anymore... it's so bad, but I let out a giggle when she leaned over and buried her face in the sheets, it's just too "Poor Val".

Marty is the only reason to watch this show. I think they're breaking up her and John so they can bring back Patrick for her.

My mother loves Poor Val! I'm over Marty. I've seen her do it all. She had potential once but now that's all they are doing there. Like Kelly she is onscreen now because of who she was and what happened to her a long time ago. There hasn't been any legitimate attempt to characterize her since her story with Todd. I think they tried with Tea. They gave her a secret and brought Ross and Elijah on through her. Then she ushered in Danyeller. That is three characters added to the show. Two of them were positive additions. It's more than I can say for Marty. Kelly is the one who is worse off. Unlike Marty, she doesn't have the past history that identifies her. She was a number of the Cramer girls. I agree with Carl. They didn't bring Kelly back. They brought Gina Tognoni back. I'd rather have Dorian and Blair. Even Adrianna fits in more.
