I think she was dropped cause her contract expired and whats the point of signing a new one. But you could be right they could be trying to save money but the show stops taping in 2 months so I don't know.

NB only signed 2 years so that is why her contract is up unless they are really trying to save money and bring back Meg Ryan and the actor that plays John and a few others.

To drop her though so they could try and get MB back instead would be messed up. ABC did the same thing with Rebecca Budig and you've criticized them for that move. They also did it recently with Jon Jackson on GH.
