April 20, 201015 yr Member The thing that was so great about DAYS in the mid-90's was that even the "wrong" couples were still enjoyable to watch... John/Kristen, Jenn/Peter, Victor/Vivian, Austin/Sami... even though you hoped the endgame would be John/Marlena, Jenn/Jack, Victor/Kate, Bo/Hope, Austin/Carrie, you enjoyed the journey along the way. Anyhow back to the original topic: DAYS: Austin/Nicole (around 2000-2002) Hope/Jack (when Mark Valley was playing the role circa 1995, had they gone that route, they had chemistry) Jennifer/Peter (with Missy Reeves in the role) Lexie/Tek or Brandon or that hot black lawyer... anyone other than Abe for awhile. Yes they're a nice tentpole couple of the show, but Lexie could easily get a smokin' hot guy half her age and make it work! B&B: Thorne & Brooke, without a doubt. Grant & Macy. Don't know if they were unpopular, but the show gave up on them way too soon. GL: Danny & Cassie. Damn Mannyacs and their voodoo dolls, hahaha. Danny & Cassie had great chemistry. Meanwhile, Michelle and Bill were heating up to something good at the same time. I think alot of what was built up towards the end of 2002 was squandered in 2003 when Weston/Conboy took over the show. Hart & Dinah (1997-1999) I guess we were all supposed to root for Hart & Cassie, but I loved watching this triangle play out
April 20, 201015 yr Member Reva/Company Menu, GL Damn, that sounds hot! Way better than Reva/Jeffrey, that's for sure. And thanks to some not-so-subtle product placement, we know Reva used Veet shavers for her naughty bits so she should be used to knicks and paper cuts.
April 20, 201015 yr Member AMC: I liked David/Krystal and I also liked Ryan/Greenlee round 1. When Greenlee became a Ryan Stepford wife, that is when it turned for me.

April 20, 201015 yr Member Eh. Expound. It's just an opinion but there seemed to be little interest in Felicia and Nick both onscreen and off.

April 20, 201015 yr Member When Anna Devane was first introduced on GH as Robert's presumed dead ex-wife, he was in a popular relationship/marriage with Holly. I don't think many people liked Anna as the threat but I liked her and preferred her to Holly. Of course, years later, Robert & Anna became popular together. I never realized that Anna was unpopular. I never liked Holly so I loved Anna when she came along. She just seemed to 'fit' with Robert.
April 20, 201015 yr Member Back in 2002, on DAYS, I really wanted Jack to be with Sami. At least for one night. I'm not sure how unpopular that would have been though....the fans were plenty disgusted by Jennifer's abusive attitude back then. Steve

BTW, I must echo 83's love for Josh/Cassie. Newman and Forester had decent chemistry and Forester made Cassie far more accessible to the audience than Laura Wright's hard portrayal..

Steve that entire nicole/colin/jen/brandon/sami/jack storyline was odd, but i liked it. i loved Sami with Tony shortly after that was over.
