The OG cast of RHONY is reuniting....on E!

https://pagesix.com/2026/01/30/entertainment/original-rhony-cast-defects-from-bravo-with-new-show-for-rival-network/

The original cast of Bravo’s beloved “Real Housewives of New York City” have packed up their pinot and defected to a rival network, Page Six has learned.

Sources say that Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon and Ramona Singer have signed a deal with E! and expect to have a new show on the air by the end of the year.

The same gang had tried to ink a deal with Bravo for a “Real Housewives of New York: Legacy” show in 2023, but — as we reported at the time — the talks fell apart over money.

The news comes as the current iteration of “RHONY” flounders.

Bravo fumbled this

who cares! They snooze they lose! It might make them feel pressure to do something with the OG RHOA cast especially with Nene back in the mix and she and Lisa having drama

Not to mention the current Drew vs Kelli now that Drew's divorce ruling came in the last few days.

I'm happy for the OG NY ladies, but, just like with Nene, I feel Bravo is never letting their NY reboot go now. Which I liked mind you...but it feels very 'the door is closed.'

Love the news about the OG NYC girls. I'm surprised Dorinda isn't listed - I'm guessing she's pissed and/or still in a Bravo contract somehow and couldn't get out?

Potomac - I just really loved that Colorado trip. Those three episodes were so LOL to me, probably top 5 trips of all-time housewives to me haha. I do feel bad for Angel, but also LOL at how bad a host she actually was, especially for someone who makes money doing that stuff in Colorado (experiences and Airbnbs haha).

Im so disappointd in Karen. She reall spent an hour playing in our faces. Lies and deflections to Andy. She's in denial and did not come across authentic at all. I know she will be back but I dont care to see that. I feel a way about her being rewarded bc the humility and accountability I feel she should have just isnt there. She still nasty to Wendy while giving Ashley a pass. I forgot how low and nasty Ashley was about her at that reunion. Karen should really have more smoke for her

Yeah, I was not feeling that either. LuAnn she was not.

I haven't watched Potomac in a couple of seasons, but I decided to watch the Colorado trip from hell.. and it was so entertaining. It had none of the ugliness of SLC and their various girls trips this season.

I think not having Karen on the show this season actually made it seem a little bit fresher because Gizelle and Ashley didn't have their usual target. And Angel is the most obtuse housewife I've ever seen in my life especially planning a huge gathering an 1+ outside of Denver with only 5 hours to spare before the flights started to depart.

So much went wrong with the trip that the producers didn't need to manufacture a lot of fights and that's why it seemed to be less toxic than usual.

With that said, I do think it's time for Miss Ashley to exit stage left after this season along with Angel (who seems like she doesn't want to bond with the women).

I'm glad I'm not alone, and I feel bad thinking it... but I just sat there last night thinking... this woman is still drinking behind our backs haha. She kept putting the focus on narcotics/pills and totally deflecting the alcohol. I hope I'm wrong, but I just didn't believe her sadly.

Watching Karen's interview through the lens of my husband (who's a psychotherapist who's been treating people with substance abuse for nearly 20 years), he thought it made sense that she focused on the pills and how NA helps more for her versus AA. From what I gather, she's been using/abusing prescription pills for years. While I can't speak to the remarks about her getting wasted every day at a bar, but I do know that if you're overmedicating yourself and adding alcohol into the mix, the speed at which you become sloppy drunk escalates dramatically.

Anyways, I'm going to hope for the best for Karen and I like that she is facing her demons and getting to the root of her issues (the sexual assault at age 19 certainly played a monumental factor in numbing her feels and refusing to cope/resolve her personal damage in a healthy manner). I don't think she is perfect and I'm sure there are things she's still keeping close to the vest (like her marital issues, which is fine by me if she wants to keep that private).

On a scale of accountability, I'd put Karen closer to The Countess versus Shannon Storms Beador...

Kimberly Beck of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter fame has never appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has she?  For a time, she was related to both Kim Richards and Kyle Richards by marriage.  In fact, the 1979 Fantasy Island episode "Cornelius and Alphonse/The Choice" had both Kimberly Beck and Kyle Richards.  Beck appeared in a 1987 episode of L.A. Law, which starred Lisa Rinna's husband Harry Hamlin.  (For the record, the L.A. Law episode in question is known as "December Bride.")  Eileen Davidson's current husband is Vincent Van Patten, son of the late Dick Van Patten.  Beck played Nancy Bradford in the pilot for Dick Van Patten's TV dramedy series Eight Is Enough.

Eileen Davidson had a romantic relationship with Kimberly Beck's former Capitol castmate Nicholas Walker for a while. Check out this photo from 1984.

That's how I feel as well. I was partly disappointed, but not completely, as Karen focused on her abuse of pills. However, I was glad that in the last segment she referred to herself as an alcoholic.

I think Karen was definitely more accountable than Shannon, but less accountable than Luann, so her interview wasn't what I'd hoped it to be, but it wasn't a waste either. Luann did not try and sugar coat or wrap her issues in gauze...she just said it how it was, right down to eating a prison sandwich that still had the mustard packet in it. Shannon continues to excuse herself and flatly deny that she has a problem, when she literally drove into a house with her dog in the car too. The irony of it is Luann's crime was the least serious (drunk and disorderly, no vehicle involved, no risk to innocent parties), yet she took it more seriously than either Karen or Shannon have.

My problem with the interview started when Karen talked about 'mentoring' the young women in prison...like she was already trying to cast herself in a positive light as this experienced woman full of wisdom. A truly wise person would realize she's at the very beginning of recovery and should humble herself more than she has.

I think it was good that she didn't pretend everything with Ray was great. And it was also good that she didn't claim she deserved a second chance from viewers. I'm also glad she admitted to ignoring her lawyers when they gave her good advice - many clients would never do that. It was also good that she admitted Ashley's intel, while very old news (note Ashley omitted that part), was accurate. There is definitely something going on with Wendy though and I wonder if the reunion will shed light on it.

She didnt. Its semantics but she never would claim to be an alcoholic. The most we got at the end which i think you are alluding to is her saying she has a disease of alcohol

My recollection was she said she had disease of alcoholism. You're right she did not say 'alcoholic' but I thought she did say 'alcoholism'.
