Very.

Very reminiscent of what's going on RHOA with Porsha. They had to bring in Shady Phae Phae to get any buzz post-Kenya and I still don't think that will help it at all. Production clearly favor Brynn, and it might be the detriment of the show. I had hoped that it would come back because...for better or for worse...they got buzz for sure by the end. However, given that Brynn has been online with no remorse from what I can see...and now Sai's recent birthday where everyone was there BUT Brynn...it's very clear that everyone see her for the problem that she is and want no part of her. And sadly...Production just have no self-awareness of why it's in their best interest to cut bait.

Andy Cohen said The Real Housewives of Rhode Island will give RHONJ a run for its money. Makes me wonder if there is a family and/or violent vibe to this series! I'm here for the family/close connections.

Also, doesn't look like we'll be seeing NYC in a long, long time:

I read that Page Six article looking for a sliver of hope that nuRHONY would return -- and found none. They are hoping to 'reconfigure' it? That means a total reboot without the cast. It sounds like Bravo (a) hates the current cast, and (b) has no clue what to do with any incarnation of RHONY. Also, the quotes by a 'Bravo insider' sounded very Andy Cohenesque.

I HATE HER! Drew is going through a divorce and she is MAKING UP rumors about her to make things worse. She's hyping Ralph up and throwing gas on this fire. Porsha needs her azz BEAT! I felt sorry for her before when it came to Simon but F her! I wiish he wasnt in ICE so that we could see him drag her in real tiime

First and foremost, f*ck Brit Eady always and forever (like the hit Heatwave song). I find her pointless on this show, and her Lavender Marriage solo scenes sicken me. Her husband could care less and loathes her as much as we all do. Get rid of this heaux, Bravo.

Moving on, Angela Oakley... Muva. How you went from being the target to putting Shamea and Porsha back at odds--that chess move should be studied. You can tell that Angela is a student of Kenya's, but more methodical. Angela had me gagging tonight. It now makes sense why Phelony Parks will come for Angela when she arrives b/c she recognizes that Angela is threat.

Did y'all hear that Juliet from Ladies of London might be one of the housewives on Real Housewives of London? Ick. I couldn't stand her.

^I agree with you both.  Porsha showed her a$$ tonight. She brought out Ralph on purpose, just to get back at Drew, and it was so hypocritical.

Angela is the best. I wish we had her seasons ago with Sheree, Kenya, Kandi, and even Nene.

Brit, of course sucks, but she and her husband both chew their food with their mouths open and it was disgusting.

I like Kelli, but we don't see her that much, we need more of her right now.

I have to admit this was one of my favorite episodes of the season. These felt new and moved smoothly, thanks to Angela.

Why do I enjoy Drew's drama when other people are discussing, but when it's her, I zone out?

I will never celebrate two real friends falling out. I feel bad for Porsha and Shamea. It's been a long time coming, these conversations should've happened years ago. I hope they make it through.

Porsha is a shitty friend there's no way around it. But, Shamea does play the victim a lot.

Cynthia and Brit were plus ones in this episode, and I personally like Brit simmering in the background, she's not a lead, just yet, so I enjoyed it. Not Brit and Mike walking around nude all day, this fun couple, let me find out.

Kelli still my boo

That moment with her girls was incredibly sweet, they all big personalities too.

I have to disagree, I am glad we have her now, they need her right now! It's the perfect time.

IA with everyone that this was a truly entertaining episode. Angela, was the standout. What a find she is, talking about her marriage and the investment properties she can't sell. Contrast with Porsha who is so carefully curated with her image. A blind man could tell she set up that dinner with Ralph, ably abated by her lapdog Shamea. Angela got her revenge at that truly random Pampered event and her exposing both without getting her hands dirty was a masterclass. LVP would be proud. What I would give to see Nene with Angela. I don't know how the ratings are for RHOA, but Angela is giving this season drive IMO.

Like NY, it just feels like the wrong time to have them vanish/paused/cancelled/whatever because they had enough interest to the viewers to want to see what happens next. And in some cases like the situation with Brynn the fix for a new season is easily done...as long as Production does not play favorites.

Which it appears to be on the way to doing so...hehe. Meanwhile, Garcelle is at Met Ball pre-parties and Camille...is Camille aka RICH.

Same. I gave it a chance, but I never got over Reza's open hostility to that potential new gay guy who was more fabulous than he will ever be who wanted to join that group. And then what he did to his BFF...smh. And now he gets a show? Not even me being curious about what crazy GG is up to will make me watch.

I would rather they keep the same style as the old show in (better behaved) American Ex-pats mixing it up with people who come from a higher class than them. To see how the class system has changed in the last decade...if at all. I know my Henry James is showing. And yes, to a Caroline Stansbury (and Sophie) appearance.

    • Great episode, better than what the spoilers said. The gambling story was tolerable but Jon Lindstrom sucks in the role. Ambyr Michelle continues to shine. The diner and country club scenes were very well executed.  The Jan and Leslie scenes were very good! My favorite is Eva, now followed by Nicole.
    • Today's show was good. The only part I didn't care for were the Derek/Ashley scenes. I think they are bland together and Derek is very bland by himself. He is the least interesting character on the show IMO. I don't think they have much chemistry together. I appreciated Jan's reaction to Leslie. I like how regular/realistic her and Mona are as characters. Jan came across as very believable of being appalled and even hurt by Leslie's treatment of them and towards Eva in the diner.  Leslie continues to try and manipulate people with IMO her fake caring routine, only to show her true colors after she's confronted/called out for her treatment of others. I continue to dislike the way she mistreats Eva. Speaking of Eva she was great again today. I love her and I like how Martin comforted her in the diner. I liked that Vernon showed concern for her as well. They (especially Martin) will come around quicker to her before others (like the Dupree women) will. I also am glad to see her and Ted continue to bond and him behaving like a father towards her/helping her. He's the only one in her life who is fully trying to stand by her. I look forward to seeing their relationship grow.
    • Xander was screaming at Felicity.  He did do something wrong.  Felicity was clearly upset by it and Cat/Chad told him to stop.  That's fair.  No one deserves to be yelled at their job-and even I think this plot point is too preachy.  It's not acceptable behavior for anyone to do that.
    • When Derek finally appears with only a towel, and his chest and pecs/nipples are finally shown, I say yes.

    • Now, actually not. That thought had not even made it into my head, so, no, so far anyway, I've not seen that. Haven't seen today yet. What you're describing is warped & I think she's feeling genuine empathy & sister bond.
    • Xander was the bigger person apologizing to Cat when he didn't do anything wrong.  he wasn't yelling at Felicity whatsoever, he was asking if she possibly had given them the wrong order by mistake.  He was trying to get to the bottom of what was going on, but Chad/Cat were trying to white knight Felicity even though Felicity was being treated just like anyone else in that situation.   She was the one to bring the order out to them, and usually the person that brings the order out is the one that puts the order together.    I'm still getting a read on the Cat character.   I think she seems to work well when interacting with everyone other than Chad.   Perhaps the new writers can move Cat out of Chad's orbit into another orbit. Paulina has been written quite well the few times she's been on since the writer change.  I think Jackee is enjoying the new writing.. you can tell when she's on screen.
    • LOL - well, Peter was included in the grandkids' section, each named specifically with their $100K trusts.  It must have been the abs...

In Henry's will, he said it had to do with Hart having a chance at being a better person than his father, since his father isn't providing for him (I'm paraphrasing here, but it was about Roger).  Still a little surprised...
    • I'm glad the truth is all out regarding Roman and Kate's secrets from each other, and also happy Roman didn't make much of the letter forgery, because why would he even care? They are a good solid couple. However, not to be mean, when Roman had his little flashback at the DiMera mansion he seemed more like an old man that was lost. How wonderfully aggravating that we still don't know what the hell happened with Johnny the night EJ was shot. I can't wait to find out. I've my feelings clear on Paulina, but she was definitely written much more adult and Jackée even seemed a bit toned down, for the better. Nothing boring about either scenes for me. I like the little drama between Xander and Cat, for the newness of the interaction alone. AnnaLynne McCord is much better at material where she's not acting dementedly lovesick. Seeing that side to Cat was integral to remembering she's not a moron, and I am definitely intrigued by the heck could be calling her. Kevin Lambert returning is a cute little surprise. I never watched Chadwick Hopson in the role though, was he any good?

    • I would love if Sarah were already pregnant and then, even with the reveal that she knew about the letter, that she and Xander would work on things to keep their family intact. But I fear that time is running out. Whatever Philip is doing is probably going to mess up everything. I do like that Kayla and Sarah mentioned the Horton legacy with the hospital and that Kayla would much prefer Xander financing it over EJ. Xander is suddenly Horton adjacent. Belle is as usual a massive hypocrite whining about 'everything' Xander has done to her family when EJ raped her sister, kept her cancer ridden toddler from her, helped Nicole keep the baby she had stolen from Sami for a year, shot her dad in the head, and as recently as last year railroaded her innocent teen nephew into prison where he was beaten up. Sure, Xander shot Brady and Marlena but both of them seem to be over it. Cat should have just graciously accepted Xander's apology. I actually like that he treated Felicity like anybody else and did not coddle her. I hope we see him apologizing though. I wonder if Cat knows that Xander shot their granddad Kon dead last year? She might like him better if she knew. I wonder who is calling her? My money is on Gwen for some reason. I feel like Cat and Chad will get comfy and then we will find out Abby is out there and Gwen has had her. EJ and Cat were far more palatable than Chad and Cat, but EJ makes everybody easier to tolerate. Roman and Kate vs Johnny and Paulina... not sure which were more boring. I guess I'll go with Roman and Kate because he speaks so darn slowly now. Philip is entertaining the heck out of me. I hope he ends up the hero who saves Bo. I think it would be hysterical if he managed to get his hands on the Versovix and EJ ends up buying a useless money pit of a hospital.
