Sounds like ABC soaps had a bad week. There was also no ABC press release.

Its not so much that Days had a good week but ABC had a bad one. Days 18-49 demo stayed the same at 1.3. Days HH rating might have also stayed the same or had a small drop.

1. Toups: Do you have the viewer season-to-date numbers -- those that include Live + 7day -- it would be interesting to see how much of a lift the soaps get from later viewing. I don't always watch same day. Clearly DAYS benefits -- if it's season average is 3.3 million, it's getting a nice bump.

2. Several CBS stations in the south usually preempt for ACC Tourney. For example in Raleigh, Y&R is being show at 2:30 am tomorrow and Saturday. In Charlotte, they are completely preempted both days.

What a bad time for Y&R to air this Adam storyline right now. They should've aired this in February.

Ouch to all soaps. Good for AMC being the soap not to lose that much. But wow 100,000 losses for every soap except ATWT/AMC.

Hope they go down some more. Y&R I'm talking to you. Maybe will finally get our wish of firing of the Hacks R Us crew.

I see soap fans finally realized how sucky the soaps are and tuned out. LOL....Nah..I think the better weather had people out and not watching soaps thus the decrease in ratings. ATWT is the only soap to go up in viewers and demos.

I had forgotten about NCAA Basketball this week. The ratings will be down cause of it.

I guess Frons will blame OLTL low ratings on Kish.

A lot of this is just simply seasonal changes causing the falls just like they were really helping cause the rises. Some will cling through March and barring nice casting miracles and/or shocking murder storylines the real falls will start in April and get bigger into the summer (August usually being the lowest month).

I don't understand why Y&R didn't time Adam's reveal for Feb sweeps.

It's odd to place that in a week that seems doomed to go down. I'm glued to the storyline this week and I'm not a Y&R type personality. They could have gotten huge numbers if they weren't playing against the odds.

Yes, very bad timing. I am even watching to see how it turns out. I havent read any spoilers about it. They should have wait until April for the Adam story.

Exactly. The better the weather, the lower the ratings. GH did well to hold on to its demo increases for the whole of sweeps. It made some serious ad revenue for ABC, making up somewhat for the Franco flop.

TPTB at Y&R make harmful and strange story choices, yet it is the only soap to hold its demos. Either they don't care or they are bad business people.

A lot of people, most of whom have since been fired or are leaving, obsessing and being unpleasant about a baby.

Kish was on Friday and it's the lowest OLTL rated day. Gays are getting the blame for sure. *cries*

Friday tends to be the lowest rated day for every soap.
